Al Salam 3aleekom^_^
I apologize for the English typing, but my keyboard went crazy
Nintendo’s E3 2011 conference, mmmm…. , where shall I start…. I guess I will just mention the things that “interested” me in the showcase
Before I start talking , I would like to remind you that I won’t be talking objectively here, but rather express my personal thoughts of the matter. Wait a sec, does the word objective even exist in the gaming world to begin with!! I don’t think so
Anyways, enough from the trashy talk>>>>why did you write it in the first place:09:
They started their “show” with a very , very classy, beautiful and “Nostalgic” montage of different footages taken from different Zelda games throughout the last one and a half decades, using a REAL Orchestra playing the main ZELDA theme as a background music for the montage. For a person who have “righteously” played all those games back in their release time, a stream of different memories “linked” to those scenes were flowing inside my mind, whether its memories from the games themselves and how great and grand each game was, or personal memories that belonged to the times from which I have played those games“tears are falling right now”, just kidding
:wink2:
I liked the Idea. The idea of celebrating a big franchise name such as Zelda in such an important event as E3. It only remind me of how would the gaming world be if The Legend of Zelda was not born
I really am puzzled with people who were not impressed the least with such a grand opening. And that’s not it! The footages from their new title , sky something really blew my mind! It was simply breath taking, the crispiness of the animation style, the gorgeous scenery of the clouds, who wouldn’t love that. I was instantly hooked and it was really an overwhelming sensation
As an opening, I couldn’t imagine a scenario better than that and, it couldn’t be better than that
Finally, Meyamoto confirmed that the new Zelda will be fully Orchestrated
That marks the end of the opening “ceremony
Moving in to the rest of E3, I will just summarize what caught my attention
5 3DS titles coming out before the end of this year, 4 from which I will be playing
for sure enshalla
New Mario, stunning gameplay, silky visuals . . . I guess Mario Mario is Mario, to me, just plug it at anytime, any mood, and enjoy the plain fun
Kid Ikuras; boy I love 3d rail shooters, and personally, the game I had most fun playing last generation was Sin and Punishment wii. I really couldn’t ask for more, really
Luigi’s Mansion 2; I really enjoyed the first game, though it stayed untouched for almost 3 years before I thought of giving it a try, a fair try that is. I did opened it once I purchased the Cube but I was disappointed when I saw that it wasn’t a platformer like Mario. But once I gave it another chance, I was quite impressed with the art style and gameplay and the tons of creativity and puzzle’s the game was packed with. With all that being said, I am really looking forward for the coming game
Marion Kart: Even if it was trash, the fact that it is a Mario kart, and it has online…that’s more than enough to satisfy me! Just a side note, my favorite kart racing isn’t Mario kart, its chocobo racing on the PS1 if anyone remembers!! I am looking forward to it, I heard they are working on it
Starfox, mmm, if my friends purchase it and play it online, I might purchase it as well. For now, am not interested
So basically, 4 titles for sure, and it couldn’t be more satisfying “to me” than that! What more could I possibly ask for. A game that falls within my favorite gener, an excellent platformer, a puzzle adventure game and finally, Mario kart
Am also interested in the resident evil titles, will probably buy them too
As for the wii, Zelda is enough to be frank, but they are releasing Mario party 9, I just hope it includes online functionality
DS; I was really pleased when I saw the Kirby title, who doesn’t like that eye candy, fluffy and cute creature. I have always like Kirby, since its NES or SNES. Catchy music that keeps ringing in your head, fast past and fun. Not to mention, I LOVE 2D side scrollers, So it is an instant buy
Last but not least, the announcement of Wii U. to be honest, the only thing I do not like in the entire announcement was the name. They could’ve just used U!! I hope they change the name
Other than that, I too see many possibilities with the controller, it looks good. People are bit_ _ing about how big it is, and blab la bla. Well just wait! What were our thoughts when the wii mote was released? We all were skeptical , but look what and how well the system did
Yeah yeah, no hard core games and all that crap, again, no one forced you to buy the darn thing. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it. End of story, but going all out every now and then and bit_ _ about it, how lame … enough
:ponder:
Indeed, the wii is not even close in term of “horse power” to its rival, but personally, what did it provide me with, me as DIO
?
Well, Sin & Punishment, Zelda twiglight princess (I know it’s a cube game), Oboro Muramasa, Tatsunako Versus Capcom, Mario party 8, rayman raving rabbits, Mario kart, Mario Galazy1 & 2, Wario Ware, Wii Play, Sport, Donky Kong, Monkey Ball, Resident Evil, Umbrella Chronicles, ohhh, SUPER SMASH BROS BRAWL!! And many others! Not to mention the dozens of virtual console games that I have downloaded
Personally, no other system gave me the fun and joy I had in those. Yes indeed it’s a matter of personal preference, but, what is gaming? What is a game. It’s something that you enjoy, regardless how primitive that thing is? If not, Angry or Hungry bird wouldn’t be the phenomena that it is now would it
Let me on contrary, count the games I enjoyed on the other systems combined
The sole reason for buying the 360, was Dead or Alive 4. Then came “A TOTALLY” satisfying and “SUPERB” games that “oversaturated” every bit of my body cells with pure Excitement
Those are; Bayoneta (this game was designed for me!!), Devil May Cry (Oh Gloria) and Tales of Vesperia with lovable characters with excellent chemistry between them, not to mention the KICK AS_ animation
And I wouldn’t forget the Most touching piece of work my eyes have ever sighted, Lost Odyssey. A true master piece
As for the PS3; lool, I got it as a present^_^. I don’t recall playing any adventure games on it, however, I did enjoy Naruto ninja Storm, MVSC3 and currently playing castle crushers! Btw, the game is a BLAST
So in conclusion, I have spent MuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuCH more time playing the wii than those two guys. And guess what, I played it mostly with either family members who have absolutely never touched a controller in their life, or with friends
Another thing is , even though games have advanced significantly in term of graphics, but recently, I feel that most of them have no substance, no aura, no atmosphere, nothing at all. People might think I am a biased fan towards Nintendo, will its true now but that wasn’t the case before the 64. I use to HATE Nintendo, really. Only loved the PS and PC back then
Oh , for your information, I did grow with almost every single home console. Starting with Atari > commodore 64 (Olympic games, Pippol , castle 1 & 2 for those who remember, and ghost house!!) > sega master system (Wonder Boy, Cloud Master and Rambo!!) > Sega game gear (Mickey mouse , Donald duck and SPACE Harrier!!), NES ( Mario, Ninja brothers, flicky), Sega Genesis (Michel Jackson , Street fighter, Alex Kid, Sonic, Temboline), Neo Geo (the great samurai showdown, world heroes, blues journey, SPIN MASTER, Kabuki Klash!!), SEGA Saturn ( Galaxy fight, Bug, Dytona, Sega rally championship!!), PS1 (Dino crysis, resident evil, silent hell, ape scape, THE GREAT one and only “brave fencer Musashi” , psychic force 2012 (one of my all time favorite , I play it till now!!), The Hunkiest of the hunkiest men, the one and only; DUKE NUKEM!!), PC, (Diablo and boy how great this game was!!), then came the N64….. and …….time stopped. Back then I was in to horror genre and puzzle games, and fighting as well. But what that system provided was totally in another league! FUN
I never imagined Mario, the fat plumper would be that good, nor have it ever crossed my mind that I will ever be playing a game such as ZELDA, which what really sold me to them. The game is simply majestic and grand. With excellent graphics at that time. Not to mention atmosphere, which is the selling point in my opinion in any game, may it’s graphics be “Poopy” or …. Well, good. Seriously, look at the DS. The graphics isn’t as good as the PSP, but what provided me with the fun was decent and acceptable graphics. Speaking of poor graphics, look at ff7 and 8 where people shed tears when one of the characters died! Though the graphics where ugly, blooky”ish” and fat. So graphics isn’t everything
I mentioned earlier that I couldn’t digest new generation games, and here is why. I find them lack the atmosphere needed for me to be hooked. For some reason, I always feel sleepy whenever I play those new games, no matter how hard I tried
Don’t get me wrong, I just can’t enjoy shooter the way I did back in N64
playing Golden Eyes with my bros!! I play it till now, and its still a blast. Ofcourse, in a CRT TV
:09:
Action horror, never since code veronica did I play a decent horror game, they just make you fall asleep
MMO RPG and all the hype with the ugly WOW, have people played Dome not the café) and Diablo
The old ones make the new look like a baby Pros _ _ _ _ _, really they do. And you blame me for not liking the current gen games
Wait a minute, why the heck did I wrote all of that!! Oh right, I remembered
What I wanted to say, never judge something before playing, only time can tell. Until then, let’s just enjoy whatever we have
Just couple of points before i finish, Nintendo could literally make fortune and milk the cow called 3DS, if they utilize the AR cards from 3DS, imagine YUGIOH following the anime rules, or even better, POKEMON!! I can’t wait
@@
To conclude, I think Nintendo conference was THE “SHI_” and what more do you want
HD graphics, DONE
GOOD online experience, DONE. (or so they say)
SO why BIT_ _ing
:28:
I think I wrote a little bit too much didn’t I ^_^. Just one last thing? have you guys seen the 3D effects on the theater? That was somthing!! People pay to see such things, and yet the audionce were ..... not impressed. really wierd
:boggled:!!
Anyways, have a nice weekend mina sama and ......Heavy metal lover
:wink2:
:)
Good bye
