there are a lot of arabic mythology and culture in this game even in manga and anime... i would understand them knowing about greek mythology as its part of many movies or novels... but how did japanese end up knowing a lot about us? they even include makka sometimes in their stories for example lol
i found many npcs with arabic names too, check the alch shop/guild w/e in bastok mines ^^
