It's on my tongue but I can't say it, the word's everybody want to hear
Maybe because I'm afraid of your reaction, maybe it will drop a tear

Maybe I'm wasting my time thinking, how exaggerated is my fear

In the end I swallow back that words, waiting for the right time
Even though there's others ready to say it, waiting in the line
And when someone say it, I'll be ready to commit a crime
Cause I know his words is fake, and the real words is mine

On the right time, I will stand next to you looking at your eye
Knowing that you're the last person I would tell him a lie
Even know that telling a lie isn't as easy as tying a tie
The words is "I love you", I'll sit back and wait for your reply

wow this is one of the best you have ever written

coz I could not figure out the words you are trying to say

but I see mistakes in the structure like using is instead of are

this kind of mistake is not accepted in poems or stuffs like these ^^

Yeah I didn't take a close look for grammar mistakes like this one, let's hope it won't happen again >_>

This poem is good, actually I personally think it's the best poem I wrote

because I spent more time working on it ( between 25 - 30 minutes ), I usually take less than 15 minutes

It's kinda sad when you remember the mistakes you committed as a teen
before he graduate and grow up and stick to this pattern, this routine
He wasn't good at high school, he was a bad boy more than I've ever seen
Maybe he had a bad company, maybe that's how his character have been

I confess that he had many problems that kept him on that situation
Lack in self confidence, speaking problems and absence of interaction
He was moving forward but slower than a United Nations conversation
He didn't feel it that time, he was lost like watching the movie "Inception"

He felt it after graduation, felt that his family need him to success, is it hard?
Nothing is hard! with ambition and desire you could run 3 miles and a yard
He joined a collage, with ambition and desire like he's in Disneyland as a child
That boy was ME, yes I might lost few things but I still got hope in my mind

Salam everyone it's probably cheating if i use this thread since i'm in America lol but if you have questions about English, i'd be glad to help insha'Allah and i'll probably have a lot of questions about Arabic that would need to be explained for me in English lol

i'm curious what your experiences are with learning English are and how do you find it in comparison to Arabic?

One of the tricky things i've noticed about Arabic is the gulf between Fusha and 3miyya, whereas in English there's not really that much difference between the daily spoken language and the"formal" language that you hear on the news (or maybe i don't notice it because i'm used to it?). The only real difference that you hear is with Ebonics (really heavy Black slang)
