السلام عليكم بنا انه اقترب موعد المؤتمر الصحفي الخاص ب سوني فسوف يعرض جهازها القادم البلايستيشن 3 وحتى تجتمع المعلومات والصور الخاصة بالجهاز تم افتتاح الموضوع و نبداها باشاعة عن مواصفات البلايستيشن 3 من العضو fox die :
The PS3 will ship in March, 2006 in Japan (earlier than what a lot of people thought before) and there will be 2 versions of PS3, but only the first version will be shipped next March, (at a price range of $299-399) with a read only Blue-Ray, and as mentioned a 120 GB hard disk capacity. The second version of PS3 will ship some months later, ($399-599) with a writer Blue-Ray, a 400 GB hard disk, for the main purpose of recording TV digital programs. Specs and additional info:
Release dates of the PS3 in USA and Europe haven’t been determined yet by $ony, but it's believed that the PS3 will ship between July and October 2006 in USA and in late 2006 in Europe.
- 1 CELL running at 4 GHZ, providing 256 GFLOPS power (1 PPE, L1 cache 32 KB, L2 cache 512 KB, and 8 SPE each one having 256 KB).
- There is 2 I/O (input/output) on CELL, to communicate with other parts of the console, the first I/O of the CELL has the main purpose to communicate with the unified shared (between the CELL and the GPU) XDR Ram memory (from RAMBUS) at a 50 GB/s bandwidth (4 * 64 MB = 256 MB of memory)
- The second I/O is called FlexIO (flexible input/output) and this allow the CELL to communicate with the next generation NVIDIA GPU at a 76.8 GB/s bandwidth (this GPU with 190 million transistors will run at a 600 MHZ, with a 32 rendering pipelines, associated with 16 MB of Toshiba Embedded DRAM of 256 GB/s bandwidth). The CELL will help the GPU in creating advanced physics for particle effects.
- Retro compatibility with PS1 (emulated by the CELL) and PS2 (emulated by the CELL)
- A Hard Disk of 160 GB, Ethernet port (no modem this time), wireless, USB2 port, and a flash stick memory duo-pro support.
- The controllers will not so much differ from those of PS2, with the main difference that they will be WIRELESS, and with better analog buttons and more varied vibration effects.
- If the first CELL IBM produced prototypes are using 90 nanometer technology, the first SDKs containing the CELL that developers will receive after 2 months will be produced with this technology, but the CELLs that will be used on PS3 (and later SDKs) will be produced with the 65 nanometer technology, allowing sony to decrease the costs of PS3, and to tackle the problems of HEAT.

He does the numbers: 90 million units of hardware, 2 billion units of software. He does the backwards compatibility thing. These are the Sony strengths, so he reminds the audience that these are the goods that Microsoft can’t match.

[UPDATE 2] Sony confirms the name and release window of its next-generation console in Los Angeles, will use Blu-ray disc format.
LOS ANGELES--Today saw the second of the big three console makers announce their next-generation platform. At its pre-E3 press conference, Sony Computer Entertainment gave the world its first look at the PlayStation 3, as it now is officially called.
The name was not unexpected, since Sony had been running an extensive teaser-ad campaign prepping the public for the PlayStation 3. The company had laid a blanket of posters around the Los Angeles Convention Center, site of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (aka E3). Bus stalls and billboards around the convention center proclaimed "Prepare for Chang3" in the distinctive PlayStation font with partial shots of the Dual Shock controller's square-circle-triangle-X buttons.
Sony also confirmed the PlayStation 3, will use Blu-Ray discs as its media format. The discs can hold up to six times as much data as current-generation DVDs. It will also support CR-ROM, CDR+W, DVD, DVD-ROM, DVD-R, DVD+R formats. It also confirmed the machine would be backwards compatible all the way to the original PlayStation. It will also have slots for Memory Stick Duo, a SD slot, and a compact flash memory slot. It will also sport a detachable 2.5 inch HDD.
Out of the box, the PS3 will have the capability to support seven Bluetooth controllers. It will also have six USB slots for peripherals--four up front and two in the back.
Sony also laid out the technical specs of the device. The PlayStation 3 will feature the much-vaunted Cell processor, which will run at 3.2 Ghz and feature 2.18 teraflops of performance. It will sport 256mb XDR main RAM at 3.2 Ghz, have 256MB of GDDR VRAM at 700mhz.
The PlayStation 3 will also sport some hefty multimedia features, such as video chat, internet access, digital photo viewing, digital audio and video. Sony Computer Entertainment head Ken Kutaragi introduced it as a "Super computer for computer entertainment."

الاكس سرعته 3200 و يحتوي على ثلاث وحد معالجة لكن مو معناه تضرب الرقم ب3 ، لكن تخيل الأمر كالتالي :
باب مفتوح يريد أن يدخل منه 10 أشخاص راح يوخذو نصف دقيقة مثلا ، لكن لو أدخلناهم من 3 أبواب راح يدخلو ب 10 ثواني فقط ;)

سوني استخدمت رامات 256 من نوع جديد ذات اسمها gdram ذات سرعة اكبر من ال 512 حقت الاكس بوكس وهي بسرعة 700

It also adopts BD-ROM (Blu-ray Disc ROM) with maximum storage capacity of 54 GB (dual layer), enabling delivery of entertainment content in full high-definition (HD) quality, under a secure environment made possible through the most advanced copyright protection technology. To match the accelerating convergence of digital consumer electronics and computer technology, PS3 supports high quality display in resolution of 1080p(*) as standard, which is far superior to 720p/1080i.
With an overwhelming computing power of 2 teraflops, entirely new graphical expressions that have never been seen before will become possible. In games, not only will movement of characters and objects be far more refined and realistic, but landscapes and virtual worlds can also be rendered in real- time, thereby elevating the freedom of graphics expression to levels not experienced in the past. Gamers will literally be able to dive into the realistic world seen in large screen movies and experience the excitement in real-time.

البلايستيشن 3 سوف ياتي معه منفذين للصوت والصورة يعني وصلتين وذلك لتشغيله على 2 تلفزيون وذلك لكي تلعب 2 player بدون تقسيم الشاشة وحتى 7 لاعبين(ما ادري ليش مو 8 :06: )
تم تجربة محرك لعبة unreal 3 بكامل قوته واثبت الجهاز فعاليته على اعلى ريزيليوشن كما عرضو ديمو لفاينل فانتزي 7 لا ادري ريميك او الفيلم :06: ليظهروا جمال الجرافيكس

شكل الجهاز حلو صراحة..و يد التحكم ما اعتقد يكون مخيب للامال , لان شركة سوني صنعت اكثر ايادي التحكم راحة على مدى السنوات , انتظروا حتى تمسكوا اليد فربما كانت مريحة جدا للاصابع :)
بعد مشاهدة عروض الالعاب , اعترف انه الرسوم خارقة اكثر مما توقعت بكثير , اذهلتني كثير عروض تيكن و كيل زون , حتى اني صعقت لما لاحظت انه رسوم كيل زون طلعت رسوم اللعب real time وليس عروض السي جي !!...مذهل حقا و سوني لم تخيب املنا بهذا الجهز ابدا :D
خخخ لسا مضطر انتظر سنتين حتى اشتري الجهاز , ليرخص سعره وينزل الكوبي << شلة القحط :blackeye:

بس اظن اليد مو مريحة
احسن شيء انهم نزلوا العاب حلوه ومشهورة مع وقت نزول الجهاز في الاسواق

الخبر بصراحه خارق PS3 بهذه المواصفات عجيييب والله عجييييب
الجهاز تصميمه جيد ويشبه تصميم جهاز البانسونك من عهد اجهزة الجيل القديم كالبلاي ستيشن 1 والجولد ستار اذا كنتنم تذكرون ذاك الجهاز فاربما توافقوني الراي !!
اما يد التحكم فاعتقد انها غير مريحة لليد لني اذكر اني جربت يد مشابها لهذا التصميم وكانت غير مريحه على الالطلاق لكن حتى تصدر ونجربها ثم نعطي حكمنا عنها ان شاء الله

جهاز لا يوصف أبدا ... روعة روعة روعة بمعنى الكلمة .. لامع وجذاب وأنيق .. اليد روعة .. جميلة .. سوني حبت تغير بعد البدين المتشابهات على البلاي 1 و 2 ... والله ما أدري وش أقول عن الألعاب .. خياااااااااااال .. تكن وديفل 4 غير طبيعية بصراحة.. شوفو التفاصيل ومعالم الوجه ... غير طبيعية .. مشكورين شباب على الأخبار .
