LucasArts unveils Armed & Dangerous
LucasArts has unveiled their latest action game, Armed & Dangerous, set to be released on both the Xbox and PC platforms.

Armed & Dangerous puts player in the role of The Lionhearts, a band of wisecracking, smack talking, rebels led by Roman, a criminal mastermind. His roving band of unitentional heroes, Q1-11, Jonsey, and Rexus, set out with him to pull off the ultimate of heists... and accidentally find themselve in the middle of a rebellion against the oppressive King Forge. Along the way they pick up on the fact that there are some things more valuable than gold, and some treasures not worth stealing.

Sporting 21 levels of action and adventure, Armed & Dangerous puts players smack in the middle of the fantasy world of Milola and its lush enviroments; including icy and snowy regions, lush forests, mountains, and rain splattered cliffs.

With unique weapons such as the Cyclops Sniper Rifle, a weapon capable of hitting multiple targets in a single shot, and the Vindicator Rocket Launcher, a four rocket shooting dose of death and destruction, players will traverse their adventure with power and style.

Planet Moon Studios, the creators of Giants: Citizen Kabuto, are responsible for the development of this title. Founded in 1997, the 10 man development studio has nearly 100 man-years worth of video game making experience. Key members of the team have worked on such games as Earthworm Jim 1 & 2 and MDK in the past.

LucasArts, a Lucasfilm Ltd. company, has been producing video games for over 20 years, including games based on the Star Wars Universe, as well as other titles such as Escape From Monkey Island and Grim Fandango.
