Here are all the reasons and facts that tell everyone in order that Sephiroth never killed Aeris, that it was infact JENOVA the whole time ^_^
1.) In the past, Cloud was a guard and when he came after Sephiroth again in a MAKO REACTOR Sephiroth stabbed him but was then over powered and thrown into the MAKO
2.) Later in time, Sephiroth flowed within the MAKO towards the heart of the collection of mako located in the NORTHERN CRATER
3.) Over time he froze in time like a cocoon and JENOVA was set free.
4.) Cloud didn't know whether Sehiroth was dead or not, but JENOVA did see Cloud before he, when he struck down Sephiroth in front of her.
5.) Knowing this JENOVA knew she could manipulate him into following her because he was very similar to ZACK whom had been supposely killed as well. JENOVA could sense in Zack his thoughts of Aeris, and Jenova KNEW that Aeris was an anceint and the only one that could stop her.
6.) She then was taken to Midgar under HOJO'S request for research on her while he was really just trying to help her get Sephiroth back to summon the Meteor because he wanted his son back, but this was not always his potentional, he at first did infact only want her for research, but during his cravings for knowledge he went mad and became obessed knowing her powers were extremely great and worked a plan.
7.) Then HOJO, when sure he had BOTH Aeris and Cloud, set Jenova free to lure Cloud around the world, transforming herself to look like Sephiroth as a decoy to make him follow.
8.) Hojo also soon after let loose his many clones he had quickly created and stored away to confuse Cloud, making him believe to be one of them because the MAKO from long ago made him forget everything, causing him to have a serious anmesia, and he became a very vanurable object to take advantage of.
9.) Once inside the TEMPLE OF THE ANCIENTS, she knew that she would have to die in order to get what she wanted, so instead she got Cloud to do it for her. She wanted to rid herself of Aeris then, but instead Cait Sith stepped in, ruining her plans, so she took advantage of Cloud once more and tried to kill her with his own hands but was stopped once more by another one of the party members.
10.) Furious at this she knew she'd have to do it herself and she wanted Cloud to see her die to lure him even deeper into her clutches. She waited for Cloud to see her and as Aeris smiled to him, she could feel Jenova's presence and slightly looked up, signaling to Cloud that she knew that Jenova was there the whole time.
11.) When Aeris died, Cloud became enraged, confused, and extremely broken into tiny pieces, ready to both kill Jenova and be killed by her which gave Jenova the greatest upper hand in her plan.
12.) After this moment it was a piece of cake to lure Cloud with his black materia anywhere she wished and she took her chances and headed straight for the NORTHERN CRATER. There she calmly awaited him to come. As she stood there, she finished off Hojo's creation, yelling to them as she did so making it seem as if she was a mad Sephiroth. When Cloud finally arrived she annouced to him "I No longer need this body!" and suddenly disappeared before their eyes. She then began to believe that she would need his body for one more task and shot down with her cloned sword in an attempt to finish off Cloud, take the black materia and go off to where Sephiroth rested now.
13.) But once again, her plan back fire on her and she failed to destroy what she wanted and was forced to fight in her REAL FORM!!! as Jenova Death!
14.) Once this battle was over, she knew that Cloud would soon figure out her plan and rid himself of the black materia so she quickly thought up a plan to drive him to the edge of his sanity and get what she wanted.
15.) While distracting Cloud with the real images of his past, she transformed herself into Tifa, heading towards which ever person possessed the Black Materia. She changed the backround quickly, covering up all the others that were around to get the one in piece, directing them towards the front where Cloud now was about to appear at, completely at her feet.
16.) Hojo became excited when he saw Cloud and knew that Jenova's plan had worked and when consulted by RUFUS about him hiding things, HOJO mumbles to himself "I keep alot of things that you don't know about..." Signafing that he wasn't always doing his work as everyone had supposed, instead he had been planning this whole thing and it was all coming together like a puzzle for him, slightly almost complete, only one thing was missing now.... the REAL ORGINAL SEPHIROTH #1!!!
17.) Knowing the risks of giving SEPHIROTH the Black Materia Jenova watched instead, deviously awaiting her plan to take effect as she watched Cloud become under her full control, filling his mind with the thoughts he then beleived to be completely true about him being a clone and a servant to Sephiroth. Despite Tifa's attempts to get through to Cloud he ignored her and gave the black Materia to the REAL SEPHIROTH who was then set free from his MAKO COCCOON and transformed by Jenova as he was reborn!
There's 17 reasons down in order of Why it was truely JENOVA! I'm serious I've done plently of thinking about this game and I know these are true now, as wel as the things of Aeris and other things. That's the best explination I can do for now, but it's pretty easy to see that it's true if you went through all the side quests, seen all the bonus CGs, gotten all the characters and basically got a 100% on the game with everything! ^_^ I hope I made everything clear enough for you all about this.
