How to access linux desktop from windows

like the remote desktop connection that is in windows xp how to me access
the linux desktop from windows xp

what is the client software I have to install in windows machine to access linux???

I use Putty , it's good, am not aware of another app, give it a shot
http://people.nl.linux.org/~bjs/putty/
and make sure you download it's manual/docs, ya3ni just read it's very easy to use
