It's always pleasure to see brothers interested in learning Japanese

However, I think that such a topic requires better organization

For example, there should be at least three parts

First : Beginners lessons : there vocabulary, grammar and writing articles can be posted, preferably without discussion over them

Second :intermediate/Advanced lessons : same as above

Third : Questions : there everybody can ask specific things and further explanations about posted articles

Without this barebone, the dear members might find it puzzling to build a knowledge out of shattered pieces, though very valuable

Of course, that would mean Learning Japanese topic would go out of General Anime Discussions forum (and be at the same level for example), but I believe that this is for the best

Open for any critics and new ideas

I guess there is no need for me to post the solution now that you efficiently took care of it lol

Now to the missing point
The reading "nana juu man" is correct
It was a bit of a tricky one I admit
the correct figure was 700000
because man is 10 000 and nana juu is 70


That's the tricky thing about counting in japanese, they have ten, hundred, thousand, and then ten thousands and that's it, every figure above must me made out of those lol


I heard a translator once got fired because, well, he forgot a lill'zero when converting the price of the transaction
I can understand the guy who layed him off

heheheh, i always Have problem with numbers and calculations >_< Even though I'm majoring in Mathmatics But its Great To score 25 out of 26 " Yaatta " I wish real exams as easy as this one

by the way, I remember someone asked once how to say Impossible in japanese
: Besides "masaka", I recently came across another word
(muri (desu

and it's a "na" adjective
meaning that if you want to place it before the name, for example koto the na will show up

murina koto

I agree with you that this thread is far from being the best way to learn japanese, I put message saying so too, I think it is in the previous page
This is more intended in my opinion as an emulation to learn and a place to ask questions
