Welcome to the Canthan Ferry Tour! Here you'll learn about the different features of each Guild Hall and how to purchase one for your guild. Click on the thumbnail images for each Isle to take a closer look at the scenery and features. Prior to being able to purchase a guild hall, you will first need your guild registered and in your possession a Celestial Sigil as well as have purchased your guild emblem (cape). Only the Guild Leader may purchase a Guild Hall. Registering your guild costs 100 gold from the Guild Registrar in Lion's Arch and your guild emblem costs 2,000 gold from the Guild Emblemer nearby
The Canthan Ferry
The Canthan Ferry Captain is located on the Canthan Ferry in the south end of Lion's Arch. If you do not already have a guild hall, he will offer to take you to the south on his ship to tour the different Canthan Islands. If you already have a guild hall, he will offer the tour so you can consider changing which Island you have as your guild hall. Changing your guild hall will require another Celestial Sigil
Upon traveling to a Guild Hall Isle, you will be greeted by the Canthan Ambassador. He says:
"These islands and many like them across the ocean are within the domain of the great empire of Cantha. While the northern powers fear the influence of powerful guilds, Cantha recognizes the value that many guilds bring to Tyria.
"If you are the leader of a reputable guild, you can petition to make your home on one of the Canthan islands. We are a very religious people, in Cantha. We do not grant territory to just anyone.
"Bring me a Celestial Sigil to prove that the gods favor you and your friends. Now then, what can I do for you?"
As the leader, once you have met the criteria of having your guild registered, a guild cape and a Celestial Sigil in your possession, you can purchase the guild hall from the Canthan Ambassador
Near the Canthan Ambassador on each Isle, is the Sigil Trader. She will offer sigils for trade, based upon the current market if she isn't out of stock. Another means of obtaining a Celestial Sigil is described as follows:
"It is said the Celestial Sigil is granted to those brave enough and skillful enough to hold the Hall of Heroes and earn the blessings of the gods.
"To reach the Hall of Heroes, well, legends hold that you must pass through the underworld itself. I know that finding the Tomb of the Primeval Kings, in the desert, is thought to be the first step toward reaching the Hall of Heroes.
"However, not everyone can capture the Hall of Heroes and for those who find themselves lacking we are happy to offer our Sigil Trading service. Simply speak to a Sigil Trader to purchase a Celestial Sigil. Price of course is based on current supply and demand
