تحدث السيد فرانك رايكارد في المؤتمر الصحفي الذي أقيم في النوكامب يوم السبت ؛ حيث قال ؛ نحن سندخل الى الملعب ونحن بكامل ثقتنا .. وعلى الرغم من الهزيمة التي تلقيناها في لندن أمام تشيلسي .. إلا أننا واثقين من تحقيق نتيجة إيجابية لإرضاء الجمهور ؛ وتحدث عن الإصابات حيث قال ؛ بالرغم من الإصابات التي تطارد النادي إلا أن برشلونة يبقى برشلونة سواء غاب عنها لاعب أو لاعبين .. وسندخل إلى البرنابيو للفوز فقط لاغير .

"Historically, it's not easy to beat Madrid on their own ground but the objective is to look for a good result and leave a good image for our members. We are confident and we'll have possibilities. Three big names - Ronaldo, Samuel Eto'o and Juliano Belletti - will be missing on Sunday. The two Barca stars are injured while Ronaldo was sent off for receiving two yellow cards in the last league match against Getafe. The Spanish FA has confirmed that he will be suspended for Sunday's match. According to Rijkaard: "He's a top class player. He's a special player but that doesn't mean that Madrid doesn't have other attacking resources".


Speaking at Nou Camp press conference on Saturday, the Barca coach admitted that the team is upset about the criticism received as a result of the Chelsea defeat but assured reporters: "We've got the confidence to achieve a good result".
