It was a sleepless night .. among many nights I spent … Thinking .. and worrying .. where on earth is my attitude taking me ? lazy .. careless .. fearful .. AND spoiled…

Yes, That's me

Wake up .. Wake up.. it's 8 am already … Don't you have a zillion applications to fill ?We are late

Yes , That was my mom..

In a rush .. I put on a random shirt matching my skirt … I wore my Hijab as fast as I could… I grabbed my coat .. and ran to the front seat of the car

What time is it ?? it's 8:40 .. Okay .. I'm entering the world records

Where are we heading , Mum ? Oh, yea … Ministry of high Education .. one where people go to apply for scholarships .. Oh , it's gonna be smooth ,I hoped

At last .. We are there … What ? No parking spots ? Oh,Well .. Welcome to Kuwait

And now I am there .. the place most expected to be crowded … Where are all the people ? Students of 18 years old ? High school graduates .. Where are you ?
Right , The woman on the phone forgot to mention that I shouldn't drive half way through Kuwait to apply for college .. I should go to the Admission Office on campus .. And there , I went …

Empty stomach … Car heating system .. Kuwait streets … and THE SUN .. that was more than enough to decrease my blood pressure oh yeah !

So , There I was .. Nervous as hell … Dehydrated … Dizzy … And finally arrived at my destination .. The American University Of Kuwait … Hallelujah ..

It was my turn to meet the lady who introduces you to the AUK atmosphere .. She demanded my mother's presence … OK … Mum is on her way here … Everything went very smoothly .. Until my stuttering problem kicked in … Yes, I stutter when I'm running low on blood pressure

It is time to fill out the application .. Wait ….. I'm joining this university on a scholarship , I said… It was then … When I realized that scholarships admissions doesn’t start now ..

WHAT ???? I HAVE TO WAIT TILL JANUARY 6TH ??????? GOD DAMN IT

I SHOULD HAVE SPENT THIS DAY SLEEPING INSTEAD OF WANDERING POINTLESSLY AROUND KUWAIT ..

My day at the campus .. was very uneventful ...

its a good thing to start college
as soon as u graduate from high school
i can tell you that
cuz you still in the student form
you know the rotine
time to study...time to go...the finals code red..u know
the whole nine yards
but when you take a long vacation like i did..well
the whole system goes wrong

anyawy..better luck next time

??aint that the 8th month in the year
thats about the same time here 2..i mean the scholarship applications

I'm still a high school student ... but , the chances that I may not get a scholarship are very big .. I am trying not to let this bring me down .. I still have faith in myself

january is the first month of the year !! :S ... I am applying for nest semester .. Spring of 2007 ! Because this semester Iwill graduate officially from my rotten school ERKH

And , Yes.. I do know that ... Will keep in mind , always

dude ,you call this a problem? it is nothing comparing to the problems that i face her in the states...hehehehe cause here, if you park your car in campus without having permit for parking you get a ticket , and that what happend to me last month
