Ar tonelico is built on a solid role-playing foundation, but the lengthy character exchanges and lack of any challenge take a lot of the fun out of the game.
The Good: Nicely drawn backgrounds; flashy attack animations; eclectic soundtrack.
The Bad: There's no challenge whatsoever to the battles; constant use of overt sexual innuendo isn't the least bit clever or entertaining; the courtship aspect of the game makes very little sense.

Some game flaws in standard RPG elements, like the battle system and exploration keep this from being a stand out game.

The sprites are excellent, as is the anime influence, but the bland backgrounds and limited cutscenes are disappointing.

English voice acting is okay, but the inclusion of the Japanese dialog track and decent soundtrack are great.
Gameplay 7.5
Great ideas for exploration, combat and character development are hindered by limitations, simplicity and inattentiveness to game detail.
Lasting Appeal 6.5
This may be a guilty pleasure game, but once you've gone through it once, you probably won't play it again.

كلهم أجمعوا ان نظام القتال سهل جداً ولايوجد فيه أي تحدي .. وامتدحوا الأصوات والصوتيات في اللعبة ..

توقعت تقييم منخفض لكن لاباس مادام انها مثل اختها اتيلير ايرس راح تكون جيدة
وقابلة للعب وانا اقدر الالعاب اللي فيها صوتيات ممتازة وهذا افضل شيء ..
