Just like you said, everyone has a dream but it seems that his dream is on halt until further notice, I really blame the people that you blame for wasting our mind power on I don't know what they want. I can bet that in the Arab World there are people who have the same qualities as the Japanese (in terms of drawing) just by looking at you guys in montada.com and that's the truth. But the "big guys" tell us that we should be "realistic" and look for a real job, and then you end up as an ordinary guy with nothing but ashes and tears. I think we should really create our own Anime companies in order to spread the right view of our culture and religion, the rest of the world serves its own causes and ignores the truth. We should be better than that

I think that shaheen's idea about doing a Manga magazine is a bold step, it is new and it might bring unexpected results that are more than great. You go shaheen, your the man

well it looks like SHAHEENS subject is more than important it made me think of lots of things and so what you said COOL_MAXI you're right there are (BIG GUYS)that are tellin' us to forget about our dreams and live the reality, i say let our dreams shape our reality then we can make a change ,maybe we can turn the tables, make our arab world as proud as can be and i dont think that anyone who thinks or does anything good will fail as long as its the way god wants it ,the irony is that god has given us a religion to be proud of,but some people take it wrong do it wrong and talk about it wrong they shape it as they want its truly somethin' to be ashamed of, ALAS... god will help those who help themselves first
lets not make some people say bad things about ISLAM lets shut their mouths lets stop them from having the joy of thinkin' that they are better or that they are the best....its a serious matter but no one takes it seriously

you are right .but there comes a quistion i ask myself from time to time ,from where should i start ?its a bit confusing when you add what should we do? its like we're lost but we must find our way we believe that we can .dont we?is it a matter of time? or is time on our side? obviously some people are not but like they say (IF YOU ARE NOT PULLING THE STRINGS THEN YOU ARE THE PUPPET)we must not let them do anything to our dreams thats first but everytime i try to pull the strings of my dreams and try to reach to them they cut the strings and then i realize that they should be hard to cut and that i should pull as hard as i can as fast as i can as well i myself dont know what should we do but i want to know where should i start as well will there be a chance to fulfil the dream ?or should we keep it a dream?
i dont wanna stand there and wait i think i did long enough to know thats not what we should be doing
there is something to be done but i fail to reach to the answer like you my friend ofcourse there is something is to go somewhere where you would be appreciated and can do what THEY want then you can fulfil half the dream my pesonal opinion dont go where pride is bring pride to where you are.......long and boring message but thats a thought

Hello people, it's nice to see that this topic is getting attention, and it's also good to see shaheen is interested in it.

You ask: Where to Start?

I say: Big ideas and dreams start small, then turn big; meaning, we should start from scratch and then we could develop these ideas and concepts into bigger and better ones. The start will be hard, that's for sure, but we must have the will to survive and the will to make this dream come true. A lot of companies started this way, then they became big. I think we should start from the Internet because it's widespread and people rely on it that much. If we create a website develop by Arabs but not only for Arabs, then we have a chance to spread the right word to the entire world. We could put our stories, our history, our works, our ideas...etc. Of course we must do it in a polite way and we shouldn't force our beliefs on them or they will attack us and won't listen to us. I think this is the way to go, because with the website, you can attract people from all around the Arab and Islamic worlds without forcing them to leave their lives and you don't have to bring them together. With this way, you'll get a lot of talents that are creative and productive. I think that this way, the world will know what we really are, and what we think of.

I hope that I have shed some light on this subject, and I hope that my ideas are of any use.
