Man I didn't find much but I have some old informations



Yuusuke Urameshi:
=================

Yuusuke is a 14 year-old delinquent, whose life is anything but pleasant: his father is unknown and his mother Atsuko is a 29 year-old alcoholic that doesn't give a damn about him and is envolved with the Yakuza (Japanese organized crime). So, it's not surprising that Yuusuke became rebel and irresponsible. Rarely he goes to school, and when he does, he doesn't take part in any classes. Yuusuke carries a load of grief that he uses to unload on gangs of the neighbourhood.

In fact, Yuusuke is the most feared person amongst the gangs of his neighbourhood. He has a fantastic punch that can smash the inner organs of its victim. Since he gets into so many fights, normal students fear him too, fleeing every time he looks at them. Although Yuusuke has no friends, his acts help to keep the gangs under certain control, while Yuusuke himself doesn't cause much riot.


In spite of his irreverent nature, his personality forged by the hard life and his incapability of showing his true character, Yuusuke is a good young man, and has a brilliant future as a fighter.

In the manga, Yuusuke is a smoker. There was a scene in the anime that the cigarrette had to appear, so they turned up making Genkai the smoker!

Urameshi doesn't has that weird meaning for nothing. The problem is that the intention was that his surname was urameshii, a word written in Hiragana, while Japanese surnames are all in Kanji. Urameshii means "grief", and is a modern adjective form of urameshiya, a typical ghost chant in Japanese legends.



Kazuma Kuwabara:
================

Kazuma is Yuusuke's rival, the second strongest in the neighbourhood. Kazuma constantly challenges Yuusuke, even though he always gets beaten up. In spite of his appearantly superior muscle mass, Kuwabara never won from Yuusuke's berserk strenght, and has lost 155 times.

Kazuma is ignorant, foolish and stubborn; he screams and grumbles with a huge and twisted mouth. But the truth is he has a kind heart, although he hates studying and is fascinated with fighting; to him, honor, pride and friendship are of ultimate importance in life. Also, he loves cats; his one is called Eikichi.


Kuwabara leads his classroom's gang, made of Sawamura, Kirishima and Okubu. They love fights, but don't used to riot. They idolize a band called Megalliga (in allusion of real-world Metallica), the "kings of Heavy Metal".

Sometimes, Kazuma is perturbated by consequences of his uncommon sensitivity: he dreams being bound to bed, sees ghosts, and a strange old hag pursues him with a knife...


Kurama (Youko):
===============

Everyone knows him as Schuichi Minamino, the best student in Meiou Highschool, a timid and gentle, tred-heaired young man. He's tall, thin and looks like a girl. But in truth he is the legendary brigand Kurama, an extremely dangerous Youko (Ghostly Fox). Ghostly foxes are nine-tailed foxes with Ghostly Ki that live hundreds of years. It is an exemplary supernatural animal, that can disguise itself as a number of creatures and create illusions.


Kurama, in a humanoid form with fox ears and tails, was an expert in breaking seals, deciphering codes and stealing ancient treasures and weapons. With his power and eficience, other thieves gathered around him, forming a large group. But, around 15 years ago, a Hunter hurt him critically. Kurama transmigrated to the Human Realm and incarnated in a foetus that hadn't yet received a spirit. Unfortunately he became bound to that human body and his Ghostly Ki returned to zero. Only at age 10 would he start recovering his Ghostly Ki, and then he would leave his new family and try to return to the Demon Realm and to his former activities. Since his mind remained unaffected by his new body, Kurama simply makes good use of learning the Humans's sciences at school, revealing a genious IQ.

Kurama's "father" dies when Kurama's body is that of a little child and Shiori, his "mother", raises him alone. Kurama ends up unconsciously absorbing human feelings from his caring mother, and becomes uncapable of leaving her. These feelings were reinforced by a fact that deeply impressed Kurama when his human body was 10 years old. "Shuuichi" tryed to get a can in a high cupboard, but he feel with some dishes. All Shiori could do was to protect Kurama's head with her hands before it hit the ground. The dishes's fragments cut her arms deeply, leaving some ugly scars. Although she was in pain, she still worried about her child.

As Kurama begins to recover some Ghostly Ki, demons in the Human Realm begin to find him. Frequently Kurama has to defend himself from such demons, and avoids having friends so he doesn't put them in risk. One year ago, a powerful demon called Yatsude ("Eight Hands") settled at an abandoned factory in Kurama's neighbourhood. All who went there ended up eaten. His servant Gedoki ("Vomit Demon") used to possess humans to bring him.

Hiei was after Yatsude, who had eaten an Ice Maiden; Hiei feared it had been his sister. He ended up mistaking Kurama for a servant of Yatsude, and they fight. When he discovers that that's not the case, Hiei finds himself wounded and faints. Kurama takes him home and treats him with healing herbs of the Demon Realm. Hiei sleeps for 4 hours, and heals quickly. Kurama discovers her friend Maya was abducted by Yatsude, and he seeks him along with Hiei. The battle is tough because not only does Yatsude have three pairs of arms but he also is faster and stronger. They deceive him and cut him to pieces, and Hiei goes away.

Some time ago, Shiori gets sick. Her illness is uncurable and fatal. Kurama feels he could give his life to heal her. Luckily, Hiei reaches him and invites him to steal with him and Gouki the Black Treasures from the Spirit Realm. One of the treasures, the Black Mirror, can concede Kurama's wish, and so he agreeds with Hiei and Gouki.

In spite of Kurama's Ghost Ki (class D) being now very inferior than it used to be (class B), he now draws strenght from his human feelings. Expert in plants, his technique consist in manipulating any plant and turn them to weapons, and in summoning monstrous plants from the Demon Realm. As a former Ghost Fox, he has superhuman agility.


Hiei:
=====

Arrogance, coldness, mercilessness and pride are some of the aspects of the personality of Hiei, a class D-superior demon that resembles an alien. Hiei has an incredible natural speed. When he leaves his position suddenly, he leaves an Afterimage (Zan-zou) for some moments, making his enemies think he still is there.

Hiei has a sad and bloody background. He is a fire demon, born to an Ice Maiden. A total disgrace to his people, Hiei was thrown from the floating Glacier Country (Hyou-ga no Kuni) to the lower ground. He survived through Ruin's magic (Ruin was his mother Hina's friend). A group of thieves found Hiei and raised him. He used to boast himself with his mother's jewels.

Hiei became a skillful swordsman. He loved to watch his victim's flesh slashed before their blood gushed out. This was possible due to his speed. Even his people began to keep away from the cold assassin, who became a nomad thief.


There were times when Hiei would spend hours simply contemplating his jewel. It was the only thing that could calm his spirit, making him forget his will of killing all Ice Maidens.

During a fight at a cliff, Hiei lost his jewel in a deep valley, where he almost fell. Since he had to find the jewel and the Glacier Country, he sought the painful and dangerous Evil Eye (Ja-gan) implant.

When Hiei finally found the Glacier Country, he noticed it would be a waste of time to slaughter the Ice Maidens. They already were a dead people; seeing them only brought contempt to Hiei, not grief. While he wandered through the ice fields, he found Ruin at Hima's grave. Ruin was frightened, but Hiei calmed her down, affirming he wouldn't harm her. Ruin told Hiei about his mother and his sister, who he wasn't aware of. Hiei's new purpose is to find his sister.



Keiko Yukimura:
===============

Keiko grew up with Yuusuke, and is his only friend. She acts like his conscience, but usually isn't successful. Her slap is as powerful as Yuusuke's punch, but fighting isn't her speciality.

The bottom floor of Keiko's house is the Yukimura Restaurant, held by her parents. Mr. and Mrs. Yukimura has always loved Yuusuke, and even forsee their marriage.


Botan:
======

Botan is the newest Spirit Guide of the Spirit Realm. Spirit Guides are in charge of guiding the spirits of the dead to Enma. Botan is cheerful and sensible.

Botan has class D power, but she uses her Spirit Ki for healing and activating magical artifacts. One day of treatment with her is the same as one week of natural healing.


Shizuru Kuwabara:
=================

Shizuru is Kazuma's older sister. She has a cool head, and believes in fate, so she doesn't get sad with it. She's always scolding and beating up his foolish brother. Her personality is quite similar to that of Genkai. Also, she smokes a lot.


Mestra Genkai:
==============

A master of the Spirit Wave who created the Spirit Light Wave Style (Reikou Hadou Ken). Cold, calm and severe, she doesn't defend justice; her enemies are simply those she doesn't like - which tend to be cruel.

50 years ago, she was Toguro's partner. Their incredible power made them famous. But Toguro sell his soul and all his friends, including Genkai, left him.

Today, Genkai is concerned in finding a successor to pass her power and techniques, because she is losing the fight against time.


Yukina:
=======

Yukina is a pure-blood Ice Maiden with healing and freezing powers. Recently she was abducted by members of the Black Jack Club who wanted her tear jewels. She is not even aware that she has a brother that seeks her.


Takenaka:
========

Corpulent, imponent, intimidating and sever, but very honest and just. These are the main characteristics of Takenaka, the most respected teacher in Sarayashiki Highschool.


Wamamoto:
=========

A greedy teacher that would expel Yuusuke in the first opportunity.

Akaishi:
========

Sarayashiki's Science teacher; he's even a worst person than Wamamoto.


Kuroda:
======

A knife-expert hitman.

Kazemaru:
=========

A bodyguard that descends from Ninjas. Uses a chainmail suit and has three magic shuriken, that pursue their target and are covered with gunpowder. He can shoot a Spirit Ki ball from the palm of his hand and still have some Ki left.

A mysterious Chinese, fat and short.

Musashi is a Japanese field.
Spiritualist and demon exorcist, Musashi is at the fourth level of kendo, by the Shin Sword-Drawing Style (Shin Battou Ryuu Ken) (Shin is a buddhist sect). Possesses the Exorcising Sword (Ha-ja-tou), with which he uses the Shin Sword-Drawing Style Photon Sword (Shin Battou Ryuu Kou-shi Ken).

Kibano:

A martial artist that mastered most martial arts and seeks his physical limit.

("little forest")
Spiritualist in training, Shorin is a novice in Xaolin (or Shorin, in Japanese) kenpo (Kung-fu).

Gouki:
======

A strong red-skinned soul-sucker demon (kyuu-kon-ki) that has several horns and huge fangs. The Spirit Realms finds Gouki guilty of 12 crimes. Gouki wants the Ghoul's Jewel so he can capture his food more easily.


The Four Holy Beasts:
====================

In Chinese mithology, they are the main cardinal point's gods. In YYH, they are a group of well-known demons that built a city as a haven for criminal demons. But they can't attack the Human Realm due to a energy barrier created by the Spirit Realm. They are planning to blackmail Koenma by releasing in the Human Realm ghost insects that penetrate human's bodies and makes them act wild, as furious beasts.

Amongst the 4 Holy Beasts's servants are Zombies (Fu-ga-ki, "Rotting Ghouls") and Harvested Humans (You-shoku Nin-gen), mindless plants with human appearance.



Genbu:
======

This is a rock demon with a huge scorpion tail. He can meld himself to rocky masses and desintegrate himself to stones that are shot against his enemies and then reintegrate his body. This attack is called the Explosion's Rock Bullets (Baku-retsu Gan-shou-dan). However, while the stones are shooting, his core, a red rock, is exposed, although it can hardly be noticed. If it is captured by an enemy, the stones will reintegrate randomly after the attack, and if it is destroyed, so will Genbu be.

In mythology, Genbu is the gray turtle god that guards the North.



Byakko:
======

This huge humanoid tiger is the wildest of the Holy Beasts. He can make bizarre monsters from his green hair, as can be seen in the picture. Byakko has the incredible ability to absorb and digest his enemy's Ki, and his roar is so powerful that it can separate its target's molecules. This attack is called the Roar's Annihilating Wave. Byakko resides in the Hell Room, a huge lava pit with rock plataforms.

In mythology, Byakko guards the West.


Seiryuu:
========

This giant is cold both in Ki and in heart. He is totally merciless, not even believing in fellowship between his friends.

In mythology, Seiryu guards the East.


Shujaku:
========

This is the leader of the Holy Beasts; his messanger is a ghostly bird called Mulg. Shujaku dresses himself as a dehva and has a pair of red "antennae" that falls from his hair. These are responsible for the stability of his eletric attacks and are extremely hard.

Mithology states that Shujaku (or Suzaku) is the guardian of South.



The Black Jack Club:
====================

This is a club of millionaries from the whole world that buy and sell demons as slaves and have fun torturing them. They love to see blood and pain.



Gonzou Tarukane:
================

Sells jewels. Makes bets with the other members of the club.


Sakyou:
=======

Sakyou was born from a poor family, and has always loved blood. He collected animals solely to open their dead bodies. He succeeded as a gambler, and wishes to gather enough money to build a huge gateway to the Demon Realm. He believes it would be fun to see the most powerful demons destroying humans, including himself.


Ghost Organization:
===================

This is the Toguro brother's organization, made up of more than a dozen of low-level demons.



The Toguro Brothers:
====================

50 years ago, Toguro-youngest was Genkai's partner in fights. They were very famous for their power, but Toguro couldn't accept the human fate of aging and becoming weak.

At one point, Toguro opened his own dojo to train young men in the martial arts. They were as sons to him. One day, while he was absent, a fierce demon called Kairin killed all of his pupils just so Toguro would fight him in the Black Tournament, that would take place 3 months later. Toguro joined Genkai and 3 other friends to face the tournament, but Toguro was so furious that they could hardly recognize him. Toguro completely destroyed Kairin in the tournament, but his grief and guilt would not leave his soul, and he punishes himself since then.

Toguro-youngest joined his psycho brother, and they both sole their souls and became demons, so they will no longer age or weaken. For 50 years Toguro strenghtened himself, and now is a class B-superior demon. In truth, Toguro-youngest is still a honored warrior, and seeks someone who can defeat him.

The Toguro brothers are known as using their own bodies as their weapons: the youngest uses the Muscle Operation and the eldest can transform his body into anything with the Weapon Body ability.

This wierd demon dresses himself as a woman. He has blue long hars, that he can turn to a whip with a large dart on the end.



Inmaki:

A dwarf that uses an invisibility mantle and uses three metal claws in each hand.



Gokumonki:

A 12-feet giant that looks like a caveman.

Evil Eye

This is an organ that grants powers from the Evil Lord (Ja-ou), which seems to be the satanic spirit. One of such powers is clairvoyance, the "insight beyond sight". The eye hypnotizes any entity whose will is weaker than the Evil Eye Expert (Ja-gan-shi) by just exchanging sights. There is also the power to restrain the enemy's movements with an evil barrier. But the strangest power is that of making several eyes appear on one's whole body, which becomes green; one's ears turn triangular, as an elf's ears. These extra eyes act as amplifiers that can double one's power.

At power level C, an Evil Eye bearer will become able to summon and manipulate the black blazes of the Evil Lord. The techniques based on this power form the Evil Lord Flame Murder Style (Ja-ou En-satsu Ken).

Ice / Snow Maidens

These are the beautiful demon maidens that dwell in the Glacier Country, which is a floating island in the Demon Realm. In Japanese mythology they are also known as the Snow Princesses. Both their Ghostly Ki and heart are cold. The tears they shed turn to rare jewels.

An Ice Maidens reproduces herself alone, without a male. As they give birth, they shed a tear to each baby. A pendant is made with the jewel and given to the child. If an Ice Maiden copulates with a male (obviously of another demon clan) and gets pregnant, a pure-blood Ice Maiden baby will be born together with an impure male baby of the same clan as his father. This is held as a sacrilege by their culture, and both the mother and the male baby are killed. The mother dies for her sin, and the child is thrown to the surface as being a threat to the Ice Maidens; most likely he dies. Only the pure-blood baby lives.

In mythology, the Ice Maidens are misterious entities that confuse men and make them freeze to death in snowstorms. There are stories of Ice Maidens that disguise themselves as human women and form families with men. Unvariablely such stories end with the unexplained disappearance of the women from the family.

Raizen

رايزن أقوى شيطان عاش في Makai .. شيطان قديم جداً .. كان يزور العالم الانساني ((عالم البشر)) قبل صنع الحاجز بين العالمين : عالم البشر وعالم الشياطين .. من عالم البشر بحث رايزن السعادة والسرور والقوة .. كان أكله البشر فقط .. لكن ذات يوم قابل رايزن احد الفتيات كانت هذي الفتاة شخصيته قوية وغامضة ولاول مرة لم يتمكن رايزن من اكل البشر .. بل وقع في حبها وتزوجها .. ووعد نفسه انه لن ياكل البشر ابداً ..مات رايزن قبل بداية مباراة ماكي * ((ساتكلم عنها لاحقاً)) ..

Yomi

واحد من حكام Makai الثلاثة ((Raizen , Mukuro)) .. واقوى شيطان في Makai بعد Raizen .. يحكم مدينة Gandara التي هيا مدينة متطورة بالتكنولوجيا .. صديقه العزيز كان في الماضي هو Youko Kurama .. كانوا لصوص هاجموا الكثير من القصور وسرقوا منه الاشياء الثمينة ..Yomi لايعلم ان Yuoko Kurama شخصية ذكية..وبسبب تهور Yomi وترك Yuoko Kurama .. اراد Yuoko Kurama اللص الاسطوري واكبر خائن في عالم Makai ان يعاقب تصرف Yomi الطائش والغبي .. لذلك ارسل Yuoko Kurama أحد الشياطين الاقوياء لقتل Yomi .. لكن فشل هذا الشيطان بقتل Yomi لكن اعماه وجعله أعمى لايرى شيئاً وتمكن Yomi بسيفه ان يصيب هذا الشيطان .. ثم هرب هذا الشيطان.. وجعل Yomi المسكين يسقط من تلة كبيرة .. وهو يطلب المساعدة ... لم يستسلم Yomi وصنع له اربع اذان لكي يعوض عيونه التي فقدها .. وطور مستواه الى الاقوى والافضل ثم اصبح احد حكام Makai .. وتمكن فيما بعد بامساك هذا الشيطان وحبسه في غرفة لمدة طويلة جدا وعذبه ...

حياة Mukuro مليئة بالمشاكل والحزن.. قررت ان تحرق نفسها .. ثم اصبح الجانب الايسر من جسمها مشوهاً الى الابد .. هيا كانت في شبابها عبداً وكانت مقيدة .. بطريقةٍ ما اصبحت حراً وبدات تتطور الى شيطانه .. حتى اصبحت تملك اقوى سحر في عالم Makai ..ثم اصبحت احد حكام Makai ..تعتبر الاقوى بعد Yomi و Raizen في Makai ...

Shura

Shura يظهر أخر المسلسل في دوري Makai .. يعتبر سلاح Yomi للمسابقة .. لسوء حظه وقعت القرعة لمباراته مع والده Yomi رغم ذلك الا انه اثبت جدارته واستخدم الكثير من الحركات والتقنيات ..واثبت انه خصم عنيد وصلب لوالده Yomi..في الحقيقة Shura يشبه والده عندما كان شباباً نفس التصرفات والاندفاع ..Shura لطيف جدا ..يفتخر به دائما Yomi ..

Yusuke

Yusuke ليس بالظبط شيطان .. وهو ايضا ليس بشر ..لذلك هو نصف شيطان ونصف بشر .. ولو ان في بداية المسلسل نلاحظ ان Yusuke من البشر تماماً .. لكنه تغير عندما ظهر Sensui .. ورثYusuke قوة والده Raizen لكنه لايعلم كيف يخرجها ..وعندما يتحول يظهر في جسمه أوشام شيطانية أسطورية ويطول شعره وذلك بمساعدة Raizen ..وهذا التحول الاقوى في المسلسل بعد Raizen ..

Youko Kurama

Youko Kurama لص أسطوري في Makai .. أحد الصيادين اطلق بندقيته على Youko Kurama لحسن حظه لم يمت بل اصيب اصابة بالغة .. وتمكن الهرب الى عالم البشر عن طريق شعاع ودخل الى بطن امراة ثم ولد من جديد .. وداعا للخيانة وداعاً لعالم الشياطين Makai ..وداعاً ل شخصية Youko Kurama الخائنة .. انا الان شخصية مختلفة وحياتي مختلفة انا الان أسمي Shuuichi .. كان Youko Kurama زعيماً وكان لايهتم الى فرقته بل كان يهتم بنفسه ومصالحه الخاصة ... صديقه الافضل بعد Yomi كان Kuronue ...

Hiei فقد والدته منذ كان رضيعاً .. مما جعل حياته في Makai حياة صعبة ومملة .. لكن جعلت هذي الحياة الصلبة من Hiei شخصية هادئة وقليل الكلام وجعلت منه لص قاسي وقوي جداً .. لكن وراء شخصية Hiei الحقيقية الكثير من الحنان والقوة !! .. مما جعلت شخصية Hiei الاكثر سحراً في المسلسل ..

As I said Sensui is S but Raizen is S+
