Rey Za Burrel, one of ZAFT’s Topguns. Where did he come from? Where did he begin? What relations does he have with Chairman Gilbert Dullindal and Rau Le Creuset?

Rey Za Burrel, is one who
had been brought into this world by none other than Chairman Gilbert Dullindal with Rau Le Creuset assisting him. Rau Le Creuset had known about the fact that he was cloned from his father, Al Da Flaga. Rau had a question. What was the purpose of mankind? He answered the question by understanding that all mankind wanted to do was become better than others. However, there were questions that remained unanswered. He decided to make 2 clones of himself. One of them, which was known as Neo, and the other known as Rey.
Although he did not know a lot about genetic engineering and cloning himself, he looked to his friend Gilbert Dullindal, who had been an expert scientist at genetic engineering and had agreed to help clone his friend. Apparently, their first attempt had failed as the Chairman had created a clone that had a few defects such as an aging disorder. As a result, Rau dispatched him to the Earth, no longer caring for the child(Neo), who then became drafted into the Earth Alliance military when he became of age.
Gilbert Dullindal reorganized his efforts and was able to take Rau’s DNA and successfully created a clone of him. Rau Le Creuset was pleased with the child and considered him as his very own. He wanted him to strive to become better than others and to play the game the world has been set up for him. Rau had grown fairly attached to the child, and showed him more aspects of the world, such as art, in which Rey became attached to the piano and excelled at it. Everything was good… until the day Rau had to leave Rey and was unable to care for him before his promotion to a commander of ZAFT. As a result, he abandoned Rey who was taken under the care of Gilbert Dullindal.
Unfortunately, Rau le Creuset died in the final battle of the war of Jakin Due, and Gilbert was sorry for the loss of his friend. Once Rey became of age, Gilbert enlisted him into the ZAFT military.
