as for the VHD-BL
it's one of my top five anime movies, I like it very much although I was able to see the movie just for once and after reading your preview I'm more likely to get that DVD and watch it agine.

and one things Bro, is it Danpel or Dampiel ? douno really cuz I thought it's Dampiel which is halfVampire and half human.

Anyway about your question, they sometimes call it Dhampil or Dunpeal and both means, Half Human and half vampire

But if you are talking about Dhampir, then that's mean half human and half demon, hope this helps...
