Tthe "F word and company" being a substitute to soft cursing in Japanese might be funny but fansubbers often overdo it
For example on a Fullmetal Alchemist episode
Edward says : fuzakenna
which literally means: quit joking
And they proudly translate it to : Don't F... with me
And this is rather disappointing and discrediting
