GGXX Slash : news + match videos

don't bother what anyone else says about character choices, if u like a character pick him =p

usually ppl tend to pick eiether Sol for his badass attitude or Ky for his Righteous attitude, they also have GG starter freindly moves

if u dont feel like reading too much within the site try out these basics first :

Double Jumps
Air Dashes
Gatling Combos(Fatal Fury style, from weakest button to strongest)
Roman Canceling(hitting 3 buttons during a move will take 50% tension and cancel it)
Faultless Defense (the perffect guard, pushes opponet away and u dont recieve chip damage from specials, hold any 2 buttons while blocking, dust must NOT be one of them)

Meh I totally suck in GGX2, well not THAT much, but I suck, Potemkin used to be my main. I think I'll get back into GG when Slash hits the shops.
BTW is Slayer broken or something?

okayz thanks alot you guyz , but now i have another question .... i see in mots of the GG matches combo chain juggles ... how do i know whats my fav character's chain ??
is there is a secret to it of some sort ??

Cypher...it's not a good idea to ask how do i play
it's better for you to choose the character you like
know his moves(basic+special) and then make your own combos and stuff if you want
this is what Guilty Gear all about
if you do that trust me....you'll creat your own style for the character you've chosen

well you see , its like that , i've been playing GG since the first PS2 release but then after a whie after GGxx and GGreload i did not see much of diffirence and i did not see a basic combo for any of the players meaning that any butoon masher will do a combo and even beat me so i thought that its a childs game , but then i saw some japanese matches and i was like WOOOOOT!!!111 i saw some cool air juggles and rush downs and presure stuff so i thought maybe i was not playing it right so thats why i started asking .
also i wanted to ask , why some ppl say that ISUKA sucked in graphics and game play ??

Isuka is a 4 player game, as simple as that, u wont get any enjoyment out of it in 1 or 2 player modes, and believe me salmore, playing 1 against 2 is an advantage, u get some boosts like faster super gains, higher defense and super fast burst gauge

Isuka's graphics are the same as XX, just a few dropped frames of animation and a ffurther camera, the sprites are just as good

basically if u wanna have fun in isuka bring 3 friends and a multitap, 4 player battle royale or 2 Vs 2 is the best, but sometimes when only one is left on the battlefield =p he is in deep trouble, EX Fiend and i have a Sol + Sol semi-infinte XD we dust loop the opponet like ping pong to each other =p

turning becomes second nature once u get used to it, and dont forget that u can block no matter what direction ur facing, even if ur back is into the enemy just push away from him and u'll block, potmekin has a good use for this, since potemkin doesnt have a forward dash, he has a back dash that has good inviciblity so potemking can give u his back and hop thru ur attacks(similar to KOF's A+B) lol

Isuka was OK IMO, the only thing that sucked was no IKs, heck I even got hang of the 'Turn' button on my first day of play

i really enjoed Isuka , and i got used to the turn system quickly ,, btw if u hit all 3 players with "Burst" it fulls like u didn't use it l

i just happen to work on a useless CM called ""I hate Ky"" , finshed in less than an hour , if you don't have anything to DL than DL it

first of all that wasn't a waste of time =) it was a very fun video to watch, seems ky stuck too many stunedges in ur throat =p the focus of videos on strategy of how to deal with Ky's stun edge more than the combos, a very welcome change

also, the music was kickass

is this remix by SSH? i think that's how he arranges things, he tends to give them a power/speed metal drumset, he loves to add distortion like midi synths,and the sped up riffs just feel like SSH's work. if u still have the link to his site can u post it =p? he had great remixes of Esaka and some other KOF tracks, but i lost the MP3s and the links
