DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT SPOILERS! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!Haven’t proofread or re-read so there will be mistakes. I just typed this all out to summarize for reference while still fresh in my mind and share it for anyone else who wanted to know what happened in the movie. Opinion stuff to come later.Started off with Anna vs. Nina. Nina won? Well, at least escaped.Brief bit of Jin talking to Nina about the search, sending her off to Russia.Anna talks to Kazuya, plans to use Xiaoyu to infiltrate Kamiya Shin’s high school.Xiaoyu, rushing with Panda, told by Ganryu to go to principal’s office.There, she learns she is expelled with a long list of reasons why, but when principal is revealed, it’s not said principal but Anna.Anna sends her to the new school and to find Kamiya Shin.At the new school, Lee writes Xiao’s name on a chalkboard, offers she take any seat, but they’re ALL empty, he says because of the school festival.Xiaoyu, walking around the school, says she wishes she would just run into him. She runs into Alisa. Emphasis on how Alisa looks with music and slow shots, Xiaoyu commenting on no uniforms so international schools really are the way to go.Shin is on a rooftop, looking down, thinking of jumping. Looking for Shin, Xiaoyu’s tracking phone or whatever senses he is nearby. He starts falling, but she catches him (in dramatic style too). He wanders off after explaining he slipped. Xiaoyu picks up a pin of some kind that he left behind where he fell.Later, Alisa is talking with Xiaoyu, explaining it had happened before, they generally talk about Shin.Later on, Xiaoyu breaks into Shin’s own room, finds the picture of him in Jin’s class, and then the other picture of him with 78M as his assigned number.She sees bandages on the floor, follows them, and saying not normally one to peek, she starts to take a peek…but Alisa calls out to her and is there too.Xiao takes Alisa and runs off, sensing they might be caught.Shin makes some remark in the shower about them…don’t remember his exact wording, but it sounded kind of wicked in tone, like “soon enough dear maidens.” Another voice in the shower makes some comment to him, pair of boots of another figure supposed to be there are seen. Shin says something like “Don’t you* have a report to fill out?” Face of said figure never shown so probably some regular minion.Later, elsewhere, Alisa and Xiaoyu, talking again. Alisa asking what Xiaoyu was doing there, confesses to having a crush on Shin. Xiaoyu eventually claims the same. Alisa says that makes them competition, but is very perked up about it.Later, Xiaoyu is talking to Anna about the fact that she went to the same school as Shin and could have at least been told that. Anna comments on how that made Xiao the perfect candidate. She also provides an article to Xiao’s phone about an entire class up and vansihing one day the school.Next day or some time soon after that, Alisa is pleading with Shin, but as he sees Xiao, he calls her his savior and uses her as an excuse to leave the room.He and Xiaoyu are later outside and talking. She brings up Mishima Polytecnic and Jin. They talk about him briefly, and she starts to ask about the photo. He narrows his eyes and asks her what photo. She eases up and doesn’t dig any deeper. He jumps away as Alisa finds them and says bye to the girls.More Alisa/Xiaoyu talking about Shin. Alisa gets the idea to do some kind of live broadcast for him through the school festival. They then walk around and then see a broadcast of Shin himself. During the broadcast, he is caught by a number of minions, pleading for help. Alisa says he’s a really good actor, but Xiaoyu explains he’s not acting.They run off to find him, but he’s gone. Upon sensing that he is definitely gone, Alisa suddenly starts spouting off a bunch of stuff Xiao doesn’t understand because well…it’s coming out that Alisa’s a robot. Alisa had lost contact with her target and claims to be with possible enemy agent. Orders come that she is to eliminate agent. Then she starts attacking Xiao and assumes she is victorious after throwing her into debris from the room.Don’t remember if it was same place or time but Anna talks to Xiaoyu, saying Alisa’s* her enemy now and ordering her to fight Alisa.Xiaoyu and Alisa fight. I won’t describe it, but I thought it was a good fight.At the end, Alisa doesn’t finish Xiaoyu off so Anna shows up and starts to attack them both.Alisa and Xiao team up for their escape and Panda shows up to save them. They all escape together and are later found by Lee as he is out jogging.For no clear reasons, Lee is very accommodating and allows the girls to stay at his lavish estate.Can’t remember order of things anymore (and may have already made some mistakes) so this is just a blur of stream of consciousness stuff.Nina, on phone, talks to Jin and explains Alisa’s blocking out some of their access and having warned him about using AI. He tells her to cut off Alisa’s network access, so she does.Xiaoyu and Alisa work together to break into Mishima Polytecnic and look for clues about Shin.In their search, Xiaoyu finds Heihachi’s signed name as being responsible. Alisa connects herself to something somewhere, looks for info. She also scans a photo provided by Xiaoyu, the one Xiao found in Shin’s room, and discovers the name of the experiment was Mutare.Later, the two are at Lee’s estate, Xiaoyu* having showered. On her phone is a message from Lei about Xiao being right and Heihachi not being dead.Out of the shower, she enters a room where Alisa is plugged in and charing with Panda next to her as they cheer on while watching TV.Alisa cheerfully greets Xiaoyu and makes up some super rocket punch name. Then another upon thinking Xiaoyu doesn’t like it. She claims all super attack moves need names, and Xiao comments how maybe in cartoons they do.Xiaoyu has become more contemplative and serious and is looking out the window. Alisa comments on her seeming sad and asks if it’s the rain. Xiaoyu talks about the Mishima family, and Alisa expresses fear about what if she has to fight her own father if she ever finds him? She’s programmed to be looking for him. Xiao consoles her, saying that she’s sure he just misses her.With Alisa kneeling next to a sitting Xiaoyu, Xiao leans down and rests on Alisa, talking about how she used to press her ear against the refigerator to keep warm. Alisa assures her refrigators aren’t warm. Xiao denies it (I think) but is sleepy and does so lazily. Alisa asks if she is recharging now too.The girls go to bed.Nina, from a helicopter or something, explains they’ve been found to Jin so Jin tells her to reconnect Alisa’s network access.Nina does so, Alisa wakes up in her room, says she got her access back to Xiao.Anna and her troops show up to Lee’s estate, enter room, and shoot at the bed but then realize the girls have escaped as she finds a couple of pillows underneath.Escaping, Xiao makes a remark about how that was really close. With her new network access, Alisa determines where they should go.When they arrive, Kamiya Shin is waiting for them, kneeling. A group of minions with guns back from the spot. The girls go to his side, but he explains he’s been waiting. Jin arrives from one side, Kazuya from another and THEN….Heihachi is revealed front and center from Shin.More talk, the order of which I don’t feel like recalling but ultimately, Shin says he let Heihachi use him so that he could take out Heihachi.His muscles budge, green glowing marks appear on his torso but giving Hei’s stomach a hard punch doesn’t do him any good. Heihachi grabs him, tosses him over his own back and then using his arms, cracks his bones and pretty much just weakens him enough for him to be thrown back at Xiao and Alisa, say he can die human (the experiment had been that he was the only one with the M cell, making him immortal…except if Hei did that to him?). So he dies.Xiaoyu and Alisa get sad. Xiao pleads with Jin not to fight, not to become a monster. He says he is a monster and tells her to just stay out of the way.Then big Mishima 3-way fight begins. If you’ve seen the trailers, some of what looked like Jin vs. Kazuya is actually what this fight is. The 3 fight, it’s a good fight, not going to describe it. Each delivers blows, some more than others.Jin casts Heihachi out and down. So, that leaves him and Kazuya.The girls are…around.Kazuya transforms and starts kicking Jin’s butt BADLY.Alisa tries to intervene, but Jin orders he power down and stand by. D Kazuya crushes her under his feet. Her torso is ripped off from her crushed legs with this. Xiaoyu is in tears that Alisa had nothing to do with any of that. I can’t remember if it was here or later that Jin explains that’s why he had her shut down.In any case, Jin does transform into his devil self, and he is completely out of control. His laser is blue now and just going completely insane as he tries to fight off Kazuya. Oh yeah, and he looks a lot different too, but the most important part (feathered wings) is still there so yay.I am really not clear on how this happened but after Kazuya criticizes Jin for not being able to control the devil…Jin does exactly that. He becomes more contained more controlled and starts to kick butt (yay!)He pretty much wins and as Kazuya falls down, down, down, he claims it isn’t over yet.Jin goes back to Xiaoyu and Alisa, talks to Xiao about being able to use reason but sometimes having to give into the hate to take control. I forget Jin’s exact comment, something about a battle again or new challenge? But in response, Heihachi agrees to gladly be that person for Jin. Then he opens a chest, says something about an earth goddess (Lee had mentioned this earlier in a lesson to no one at some earlier point). Then a bunch of Mokujins pile together to create a huuuuuge monster with Heihachi deep inside, controlling it. He claims the devil’s hatred is nothing to this power.He tries to crush Xiaoyu and Alisa together, but the earth goddess Mokujin collective denies him as Xiaoyu tries to protect the girls. Heihachi insists on destruction and keeps trying to control it to do as he says.Xiaoyu, in frustration, cries out that humans should just disappear. One of her tears hits Alisa’s face, and Alisa re-activates on her own. Crawling with her arms, talking of being inspired by Panda, she then says super rocket punch, or something like that, and shoots of one of her* hands, and then the other, toward the center of Mega-Mokujin, finding Hei and toppeling the whole thing. There’s not much of Alisa left, just her chest and head.Devil Jin uses his lasers and takes down the rest of MegaMokuHei.He descends, reboots Alisa, talks to Xiaoyu, saying he knows he’ll have to battle her one day and will be waiting. He flies off.Back at Lee’s estate, Anna is laying down on the ground, and Nina is sitting. Anna opens her eyes and asks if Nina let the girls escape. Nina is too tired to reply and passes out. One of Anna’s troops offers to dispose of her, but Anna orders she be taken to the relief squad. Lee shows up, Anna asks who he is, and he explains he owned the place. He doesn’t really seem to bothered by it all, asks about why helping Nina, and Anna says it would be a bore. Lee says excellent and gives his thumbs up (which he had done a couple of times throughout the movie).Credits start to roll but stop not long after with Alisa and Xiaoyu sitting on a bench and Panda on the ground nearby. They talk about building a global amusement park, Xiao’s dream, and entering the tournament. Alisa is flattered as Xiaoyu says they’re friends, right?The end.One last thing for one of my Jin x Xiao friends (xiaoling), it does come up in a conversation between Alisa and Xiaoyu. Xiaoyu’s obviously thinking about Jin, even if not giving away his name to her, and Alisa asks if she was in love with him, but Xiao says no, it wasn’t like that, they were just very close.
