Tutorial DKZ STUDIO
(dont need to patch or rebuilt the iso, just import files also patched)
(pas besoin de patcher ou reconstruire liso, importer justes les nouveaux fichiers déja patchés)
Launch dkz studio, for remplace a file by one of new patched, do file, open a file, select we9 clean iso,
in collumn in your right, clik on the file you want to replace (only one after one!), and clik on right button mouse,
import the files, and go to search the new same files for replace in my pack WEmerica 2.5
Lancer dkz studio, pour remplacer un fichier par un des nouveaux patcher, faites file, open a file,
selectionner votre iso vierge de we9, dans la collone sur votre droite, cliquer sur le fichier que vous voulez remplacer
(seulement un par un!), et cliquer bouton droit souris, import the files, et aller cherche le meme
fichier dans mon pack a remplacer dans mon pack Wemerica 2.5
1-replace jtext, 0-text, 0-sound, and slpm 660.09 files by the news in my pack for all of you!

BASIC PATCHING GUIDE FOR WINNING ELEVEN 9

Recently we've had a lot of threads popping up on how to patch Winning Eleven using all those patches made by Fernando and and all you other guys (kudos to you, btw). So I just thought I'm gonna stick this lovely patching guide here for all you who need some assisting in patching DVD and CDRip images.
In case you still got questions, please refer to our editing area.

Guide to making a patched WE9 DVD image

First of all you need to use your original WE9 DVD to make an image onto your PC and then patch it. And you need a DVD-burner with blank DVDRs.
1. Downloads.
You will need to use these programs
a)DVD Dycrypter,

b)ppf-o-matic3 (also known as pdx-pom3)

c) CD/DVD burning software such as Nero or Alcohol120%.
d) Plus the WE9 patch you want to use - (90% translation patch is here.
Most patches come compressed as rar files so you need to check this thread to find out how to unrar (uncompress) these to give you the actual patch files which are .ppf files.
2.
Create an ISO from your original WE9 dvd game using dvd decrypter or other ripping program.
a) Put your Original WE9 dvd in your PC dvd drive
b) Open DVD Decrypter, go to MODE /ISO / Read
c) Choose your destination folder eg origWE9
d) Press the go button (dvd->Harddrive symbol)
This gives you your original ISO.

Open ppf-o-matic3.
Select your ISO file from above (by clicking on the small disk pic and locating the file in its folder).
Select your .ppf patch file (again by clicking on the disk image)
Click Apply. Wait for the ISO to be patched.
If you also have patch update files, you can now apply them to your ISO as well using the same method. Select the same ISO and the next patch and click Apply.
Read the instructions that come with each patch to see if there are any other methods or techniques you need to use when patching. This is the most common and basic method usually used.

Now you are ready to burn your patched ISO image.
I tend to defragment my hard disk at this point. Then you should shut down all other programs (or better yet, reset your PC).
You can burn the image using DVD-dycrypter (Open DVD Decrypter, go to MODE /ISO / Write and then clicking the button at the bottom), Nero or Alcohol 120%.
Open your burning program and select the Burn As Image or Burn Image option. Select your patched ISO file. Insert a blank DVD-R and set the speed to be as slow as possible as this is better for the life of your PS2 laser. If you use cheap DVDR types and/or fast burning speed, this is not good for the life of your PS2 laser. Set it to burn and leave it for a while. It will take time so be patient and don't mess with your PC otherwise there is a chance that the patched disk won't run. Some PS2s prefer DVD+R so if a DVD-R doesn't work, try that.
Once it has burned you can now play your patched version of WE9 on your modified PS2 (using either a chip, a fliptop lid or a slide card method).
Remember that your image can usually only be patched once. The only time this is not true is when a patchmaker releases an update or a fix for his patch, and in these cases you can simply apply the update/fix after the main patch. But if you want to use a completely different patch then you will need to delete your game image and rip a new one from your original disk - basically you have to start the patching process again. If you have any problems with patching, make sure you start the process from the start as it is common for people to patch their image with several different patches and then wonder why it doesn't work.
This is a basic and simple guide to patch WE9. If you have a dvd-burner and a modded PS2 then you should have very few problems.
Guide to making a patched WE9 CDrip

1. Download the WE9 ripkit from the links above or get all the tools you need from

(You will need to extract the tools using WinRAR and unzip/install the programs)
2. Create the following folders in C:\
C:\WE9
C:\Files
C:\Rip
C:\TEXT
3. Use DVD-decrypter to make an ISO from your original WE9 DVD. This ISO should be 1.30GB in size with a 5KB MDS file. Both files are named "DVDIMAGE".
Cut and paste these 2 DVDIMAGE files into "C:\WE9"
4. Run ISObuster, open the DVDIMAGE.ISO image and right click on the red ISO tag, then select EXTRACT and select the "C:\Files" folder as the destination. All of the files will extract to here.
Close ISObuster.
5. Unrar the ripkit and copy this new folder to to "C:\GGFR-WE9J" folder.
6. Execute the ripkit file ggfr-we9j.exe. Click on "Readme" and then "Start". Wait a long time until this is done (at least an hour). When it finishes it will give you a WE9j.ISO file (of about size 655MB). Make a copy of this iso and keep it safe otherwise you will have to repeat the entire ripping process again. Repeat: Never delete this WE9j.ISO file.
(If you do delete it, begin this guide from the beginning again)
7. Make a copy of this WE9j.ISO image and paste it into C:\Rip and rename it to Rip.ISO

8. Download the WE9 patch you want to use. Unzip/unrar it so it gives you the .ppf file.
9. Open ppf-o-matic3 and apply this patch to your WE9.ISO (in C:\WE9")
Your WE9 DVDIMAGE.ISO is now patched.
10. Run CDMage and Open ("File", "Open") the patched WE9 DVDIMAGE.ISO. On the left side of the screen, left click on the word "Track" (from where it says "Track 1 [Mode1/2048]".
11. In the main window on the right side, the files in the image should appear.
Right click on J_Text.AFS and then left click on "Extract File". An "Extract files" window appears, click on the "..." box on the top right of this to indicate where you want to export this file to, C:\TEXT folder and then click on the Extract button at the bottom. This extract process will take about 5 seconds (depending on the speed of your PC).
Repeat this step and extract the O_Text.AFS to the same folder. The folder should already be selected so you just need to click on Extract and it will take about a minute to extract this larger file.
12. Close CDMage and then open it again. Open the Rip.ISO this time. (you will have to open it as "M1/2048 track (*.iso), click "Open".
Left click on "Track" again and on the right side right click on J_Text.AFS and then click on "Import File". Now select the J_Text.AFS you previously extracted from the patched image (which is now in C:\TEXT) and it will be imported in about 5-10 seconds.
Now right click on the O_Text.AFS and Import the O_Text.AFS from C:\TEXT folder (this takes a couple of minutes, and progress % is shown on the bottom of the CDMage window). Wait until this is completed.
13. Go to the top left of CDMage and click on "File", "Save As". Name it "WE9final" and set the destination as C:\
Click Save. and set the 'Save options' changing it to Mode 2/2352, as shown in this diagram:

and then click on 'OK'. The image will be saved as a bin+cue file. This takes a few minutes.
When done, close CDMage.
14. You now have a bin file called WE9final.bin of around 752MB in size with a cue file of the same name (1KB in size).
15. You are now ready to burn the bin+cue image using Nero or Alcohol 120% or whatever you like. Remember to burn as slow as possible. You may use standard 700MB CDR disks to burn this image. You may delete all of the files created in this process except your WE9j.ISO and the WE9final.bin+cue . (At this point I tend to defragment my hard disk and then reset my PC before burning)
To make a new CDrip using a different patch, follow steps 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15.
Hope this guides helps. Apologies if it is not easy to follow but I tried to make it as simple as possible.
I am currently playing a CDrip of WE9 with Fernando's V3 translation patch applied.

Application of the patch:You can do after applying to any patch (you must regenerate 0_sound.afs) this implies that you must make a new copilación with Nero or create the ISO (ISOMAKER).
Note: The creator of Chants sayings is SoLIdUsJ2k and were removed from the patches published by for [ WE8 ], the only thing that we have done is to insert them in [ WE9 ] and nothing else.
Note 2:It works for any patch published to the date.

Sorry for the option file delay hard to get things done with a dodgy monitor turning itself off. Anyways bought a new one will start updating option file. Muggsy is doing most of the kits. Please be patient.

1 Make a clean(unpatched) .iso of Original WE9
2 Unrar the WE9mix patch v1 new.ppf file and apply.
3 Open ppf-o-matic and load the WE9 original .iso
load the .ppf patch as well. Press apply button.
4 Burn the .iso with your chosen software.
If u want u can add english commentary, jonoboys national supporterts flags and the chants patch after u apply this patch. But u may have to rebuild the .afs file before burning.

Makes all licenced Teams to unlicenced Teams so that you can open their kits in InGame Editor(when no memory card is insert)
Still to do is:Backnumbers/Names color;Gloves from the GK`s etc.)
