Hello,

Anyone tried GNOME 2.2 yet?

I have downloaded the source files but didn't touch'em uptill now. I will try to work on them soon in shaa allah.
By the way, have anyone tried GARNOME?

I AM USING GNOME 2.0 AND KDE 3.1

CAN U POST SOME SCREEN SHOTS ?
AND IS THE INSTALLATION HARD ?
AND WHAT SIZE IS IT ??

As requested, here is a screenshot of my Red Hat 8.0.94 Beta with GNOME 2.2 running the following applications:
Mozilla
gedit
terminal session
gkrellm with default theme
Nautilus with Grand Canyon theme

As you can see at the bottom of the screen, the translucent panel I have, now it is a new feature in GNOME 2.2 that you can have a transparent (translucent to be honest) panel without a hack!
Also the fonts has been greatly enhanced with the enhancment of the Anti-aliasing.

AND IS THE INSTALLATION HARD ?

As you might have noticed, I didn't install GNOME alone, It came bundled with RH 8.0.94 Beta.
