xfce arabic typing

hello all,

is there any way to type with arabic language in xfce enviroment ?

it is really a crucial thing

بالنسبة لـ xfce اذا اردت الكتابة بالعربية
ادخل على موجه الاوامر Terminal
ثم اكتب kxkb
او
Run Application -=> kxkb
وهذا برنامج تغيير الكتابات التابع لبيئة كيدي .. وممتاز وجيد جداً للاستخدام على اكس اف سي اي ...

i hit the command
but nothing happen

no program were lanched !

يمكنك ان تستخدم الاكس لتغير الكيبورد في جميع الواجهات الرسومية
بفتح ملف
etc/X11/xorg.conf/ او غيرة اذا كنت تستخدم غير xorg (معظم الاصدارت الحديثة تفعل)
وتضيف التالي في قسم الكيبورد

Option "XkbLayout" "us,ar"
Option "XKbOptions" "grp:alt_shift_toggle"

ويمكنك تغير بضغط alt و shift في اي واجهة او تغير ه حسب الرغبة

but nothing happen

الاعدادات صحيحة لكن هل قمت باعادة تشغل الواجهة الرسومية
ربما كان هذا هو السبب

yes i try
i also try it ingnome,kde
nothing happen.

in gnome i use language indecator,,, i dont remember the name correct
in kde i use language switcher

يمكنك الان استخدام الامر التالي مؤقتا حتى تكتشف المشكلة

setxkbmap -layout "us,ar" -option "grp:alt_shift_toggle"

لا ادري ما هي مشكلتك واخبرك اني قد واجهت مشاكل في اللابتوب وهو يستخدم ديبيان فبعد ان رايت مشكلتك حاولت تغير الاعدادات ولكن لا شيء مثلك لكن في الكومبيوتر لم اواجه اي مشاكل وانا استخدم هذه الطريقه منذ زمن وايضا استخدم xfce4
اذا وجدت الحل اخبرني
