Sony has released new details on its PS2 RPG Wild Arms: The 4th Detonator. The story takes place 10 years after Wild Arms: Altered Code F, you can import save data from the first game and awesome bonuses, such as additional holding items, additional treasure chests throughout the quest, additional experience points after defeating certain bosses and certain items become more powerful or effective.
The game will have new facial expression on the character faces; and a lot more action elements on the field scene, such as push, jump, slide, climb and hang-on to ropes. A new hexagon battle system is used in the game, in each battle the allies and enemies will stand in his/her own hex fields, a character can damage all opponents who stand in his hex field, if the character moves away from his hex field, he can only damage one enemy at a time. Magic casters can also use a single spell on all allies (such as healing) or all enemies (offensive spells) at once, as long as they stand within the caster's hex field.
