So before you get too heated, I'll explain the context for such a teaser. This trailer is the first segment of Ubisoft's German Game Convention in-theater demonstration, which was also showed behind closed doors at E3, but never released to the public. Like at E3, as we understand it, Ubisoft has built a small theater in which to show the new Brothers in Arms: Hell's Kitchen game for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. The video is scripted, narrarated by Gearbox President Randy Pitchford and Retired Colonel John F. Antal, and provides a taste of the game's next-generation visuals, enemy AI, squad AI, gameplay scenarios, and of, course, all of the World War II details you could possibly ask for (plus a little more).
While many key words were just used, one especially key phrase is "first segment." That means there is a second segment. The second part, which we'll provide for you exclusively, is the monster trailer. It's filled with burly action, impressive gameplay, and it's where, as they say in old '80s hamburger commericals, the beef is. It's coming for you in IGN Weekly on Friday. We know, we know, this whole set-up is a horrible tease of a teaser, and we're horrible people for doing such awful things to you. But somehow, we know you'll be able to handle the suffering. Friday is only a few days away, and the wait will be worth it.
