أولاً عند التسجيل في بريد الهوتميل اوي اي بريد آخر تسجل الاسم والباسوورد وايضاً شيء مهم ربما الاغلب لا يسجله وهو الشيء اللذي عن طريقه يمكنك من استعادة الايميل وهو: Alternate E-mail Address اي الايميل البديل وموضوع عليه (Optional) اي اختياري والاغلب يهمله لانه لا يعرف أهميته وهذه صورة توضح ذلك عند التسجيل لايميل الهوتميل:

بعد التسجيل وتسجيل الايميل البديل في حالة نسيان الباسوورد او سرقة الايميل وتغيير الباسوورد والسؤال السري ادخل الى موقع الهوتميل وادخل الايميل لنفرض ان الايميل هو:rami@hotmail.com ندخل باسوورد خطأ او اللذي نعتقد انه الصحيح مع انه غير صحيح وتم سرقته:
وبعد ادخال معلومات خطأ يظهر ما يلي:
وبعدها اضغط reset your password فيظهر ما يلي:
وهذه هي الطريقة الاولى عن طريق معرفة الدولة المسجل لديها الايميل ومعرفة جواب الرقم السري.
وبعد ادخال محاولات خطأ يظهر ما يلي:
اضغط الخيار الاول وهو send yourself an email message with a password reset link ثم يظهر ما يلي:
اضغط send email ثم اذهب الى الايميل البديل الذي تم ارسال له رابط استرجاع الباسوورد
و ان شاء الله تسترد ايميلك
