Happy Birthday to Lara Croft! Oh yeah, and Happy Valentines Day too.
Eidos Interactive and Core Design are happy to announce that in honor of Lara’s birthday, TombRaider.com has been significantly updated with all new imagery and information from her upcoming edgy action game, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness.
The site update includes new screens and character info (Gunderson and Rouzic), July-December 2003 of the calendar are now downloadable, and for your viewing pleasure, the cool new G4 network spots starring Lara.
Regarding the ship date we have always stated that Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness will ship only when it is ready. As we all know so much is riding on this game. We are treating Tomb Raider exactly the same way we treated Hitman 2 and TimeSplitters 2. Both titles were set to ship in early 2002 but in order to make the best game possible we held them until October. Judging by the retail success and many awards they have received it was the right decision. With Tomb Raider we are taking the same stance. Simply, get the game right before we ship.
