Tomb Raider to the 20th
The original date stands firm.
June 16, 2003 - The world "Delay" is one that Tomb Raider fans have come to know quite intimately over the last year or so. Plagued with stall after stall, the latest edition of the platinum-selling franchise named The Angel of Darkness has been bounced around the calendar like an angry ping-pong ball. Announced during the 2003 Electronic Entertainment Expo to be expected on June 20, there have been conflicting reports of a June 17 release date by online retailers and even the official Tomb Raider website.
Confused and bewildered, we decided to give the folks at Lara's home company a call so that we could settle this mystification once and for all. Here's what they had to say: "Its actual release date is the 20th", said an Eidos representative. "It's not going to ship until then".
