USB problem (device not recognized) English !!

these days i have faced a straing problem
i tried googling but all solutions seemed unuseful
and i have relised that there is alot of people suffering from this problem
lets go straight to the mawdoo3
i got a fat psp
i pluged in my psp thro the USB cable but 2 things
always appears!!
1- sometimes the computer does no ever feal the psp as a device
2- and most of the time a pop up box shows tellinng me
"device is not recognized"
my psp worked before in other computers without any drivers
and there opertating sys. is the same that i have
which is
windows xp or vista too
and am sure that my usb cable is working coz i tried it in other devices such as my mobile , camera , and also was working good with my psp before 10
days
in the end please tell me what to do coz i got alot of games that i want to transfare to my psp bit i cant
sorry for the English writting coz i dnt hv an arabic writting
coz it is a brand new xp windows that i puted in to see if the usb is going to work or not
but it seemed not useful at all
