look on the bright side
أو

Hey
It's the first one
Look on the bright side
I don't think it changes according to the situation or sentence because it's an idiom, a fixed expression
:)
Ciao for now

Hello dear brother ....

I would like to say something.... In fact , both expressions are right... but they have different meanings.

To make it clear , let me give you these examples :

look at ( tr ) = regard :

He looked at the clock and said , " It is midnight "

look on ( tr ) = consider

Most people look on a television set as an essential piece of furniture.

Bye .......

:ciao: :ciao: :ciao:

The first 1 is an idiom

Example:

Uh, Jordan, you did'nt win, but look on the bright side, you got to play with the world champion

The second one is just a normail phrase

Example:

Look at the bright side of the sea, it glows like diamonds, what a nice view

بعد العودة للدكشنري Longman Pocket Phrasal Verbs Dictionary

وجدت

Look at: to consider sth in particular way.
Look on: to consider sth in particular way.

So, you can use both of them but I prefered the second which is "look at". any help

Actually my friend one of them is an idiom and the other is just a phrase

It's just that some dictionaries simply do not point that out
