Ok I don't have the game but I'm 100% sure that you're in the DigiWorld in 3. Evidence? The places names, and when I saw the game's trailer (a picture explaining the game) it said: "Hackers have into the DigiWorld", so there you have it!

Maybe the DigiWorld IS in the game, but your mission is to save Digimon Online, so like previous Digimon games you can only enter DigiWorld if you finish the game!
