Kubaj I agree with you it might not have been a crush after all however I guess what you said is right about their realtionship would start in the end..
and I agree, too on that it wouldn't be as good as it is if the story was longer than 48 hours as it is
because then Langdon will be no longer a suspect which is a big part of the story and then everything will be reveal and the story would lose its strength, yet I am not a big fan of this kind of novles,
I never read "Wuthering Hights" I've heard its boring is it?? however I got what you mean about the " Long build up" have you ever read " Great Expectation " by Charles Dicknes I hate the book but you wouldn't understand why "Pip" would end up like that,
I also agree with you that the movie didn't turn out as good as the book
I still don't think the book is as good as the fuss they made about it..
anyway the movies made out of books aren't alwayes good
well, they are mostly not good
I mean have you ever seen "Harry Potter" ! they had to delete too much details that it turned out to be so slly

Good afternoon Amal, I never saw the movie, but I heard it wasn't impressive.

Regarding "Wuthering Heights" It's not boring, It's one of my favorite novels, if not the most novel that had an effect on me.

Maybe whoever told you it was boring didn't like the "country-side" setting.

It's Romantic, dark and I liked the psychological aspect of it, it's so haunting.

Every time I think of the novel I feel some how a bit sad, you should really read it.

I also love Great expectations, I've read it in Arabic when I was a young kid, and then watched the movie which was surprisingly great, and I read it in English recently, I don't know what do you mean by how "Pip" ended up.

well, about the book you are talking about.. I think it is a romance book and I don't like romance... is it romance? I guess I should read it first before saying that whether its bad or good!
and about Pip I mean did you see how he turned to at the end I mean the kind of personality he had is not the same one he had before as a young
I think that what happened in our childhood is what makes us as adults..

I red DC about year ago and it was...Entertaining
it was entertaining and nothing more
if you ask me, this book is way too overrated
I liked Angels and Demons more than DC
one other thing and this time about Dan Brown
..I think he's just a writer wanna-be, you know
...its true he fills his books with LOADS and LOADS of info but
there is nothing memorable about his charcters
every charcter in his books is 2D
!!and that sucks
they are either plain good or pure evil
and thats just a bit too idealistic for my taste
I like enigmatic charcters

try Stephen King's Dark tower

Yes like you said DC is just entertaining...
I liked Angel and Demons more than DC, too..
and about Brown himself I don't know I didn't like him much too.. and the charecters well they are weired I mean I never got why does he keep telling us that Robert has a fear of small places I mean it doesn't do anything in the book and so on you see he put too much usless things about the charcters..
I've heard about Stephen King but I only found the fifth book of the dark tower..
how about " the wasted land" for king I want to get it it looks good?

As a matter of fact, The Waste Land is the third book -out of 7- in the
magnificent epic tale that is: the Dark Tower.
I'm 100% a fan of this tale and its, with out a doubt, one of the best epic tales
out there.
I recommend this story nearly to anyone.
get the whole 7 books, and don't let them down of your hand till you
finish them all.
the way I see it, we should feel lucky,because some people kept waiting for the story to end about 30 years

one of my sisters hates him.. she found him silly..

one day, I went to this seminar he was helding in Cairo, and WOW! I mean WOW, there ws so many people that I thought I'm in the wrong place
turns out I was rong and the man has quite a fan base

the man is hillarious, I can't help but to burst in laughs when ever I read
one of his book, and sometimes when I'm in a public place people give me this
look, like they feel sorry for me or something, I bet there thoughts goes something like this:"Oh. what a waste, yet another young man losses his mind
Oh, it must be the drugs" what they don't realize is I'm having a great time.

Yes dream catcher I know he have a fan club but it seems they all are egyption!
I loved the websites about him you send it to me
he is really great...
I used to take this Arabic class, the professor would talk about anything but arabic so I would bring a book with me and read in his classes, I used to bring Ref3at books but I stopped and the reason is that I can't help it but laugh my heart out untill the professor would hear me.. and the girls would give me the same look you are talking about.. " you are drunk" .. God he is really funny
but I didn't know that poeple this old would read his books I mean 40 and over.. !
