القاعدة العاشرة :

ترجمة التعبيرات المجازية Metaphorical Expression
-----------------------------------------------------------

هناك ثلاث حالات لترجمة التعبيرات المجازية.......

1- مناظر متطابق شكلاً ووظيفة Form and Function

مثال:
------

الطيور على أشكالها تقع
Birds of feather flock together.

2-- مُناظر متطابق وظيفة فحسب Equivalent metaphor in function but not in
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --form

مثال :
-------

Crawling unwillingly like a snail.
يزحف على مضض مثل السلحفاة

ملحوظة / السلحفاة تشير إلى (التباطؤ ) و ليس مثل (القوقع ) ← (الانعزالية )


3-الشرح: فى حالة تعذر وجود النوعين الأولين من المناظرات Paraphrase
------------------------------------------------------------------------------

مثال:
-----

It’s raining cats and dogs.
إنها تمطر بغزارة .


Translate into Arabic :
-------------------------

1- Love is blind.
2- Not all that glitters is gold.
3- A drowning man will clutch a straw.
4- A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
5- I'm all ears.
6-I'll be waiting on pins and needles.

[المكاويه]

Hi teacher

1- Love is blind.

حبك الشيء يعمي و يصم

2- Not all that glitters is gold.

ما كل ما يلمع ذهبا

3- A drowning man will clutch a straw.

الغريق يتعلق بقشه

4- A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.

عصفور في اليد خير من عشره على الشجره

5- I'm all ears.

كلي آذان صاغيه
ما اعرف اذا هذي الترجمه مقبوله و لا لأ؟؟

6-I'll be waiting on pins and needles.

ما عرفت المثل
لكن استنتجت انه معناه كده
سأنتظر على احر من الجمر
او سأنتظر بفارغ الصبر
مجرد تخمينات!!!
