Bleem For Dreamcast Finally Arrives!
Bleemcast is a reality folks, but it might not be what you're expecting.

When we first saw Bleem for Dreamcast at E3, we were extremely impressed. Not only could you play PlayStation titles on the Dreamcast, but they looked a WHOLE lot better. With promises of improved sound and less loading time of PlayStation games, many of us have been eagerly waiting for the Bleemcast. And waiting, and waiting, and waiting... And just when we almost ruled it being cancelled, Bleemcast is finally announced to be in stores May 1st!
For those that have no idea what this Bleemcast is, it is essentially a disc you put in you Dreamcast where you load it up, remove the Bleemcast disc, place a PlayStation game in the Dreamcast, and VOILA! You're playing PlayStation games on your Dreamcast! If you wonder how much better could it possibly look, we've included:

As you can see, the difference is quite dramatic and I'm sure you're wondering how much it's going to be and what PS games you'll be able to play. That is where we think many of you will wonder why Bleem for Dreamcast is coming out as single game versions for $5.95. Yup, instead of having one Bleem disc compatible with a number of PlayStation games, the first Bleemcast product will only feature Gran Turismo 2. No details have been given why Bleem chose to release Bleemcast as a single-game version and addtionally, no plans have been definitely made on what games will be available next. We'll get more details about the Bleemcast in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned.
