FATAL FURY

INTRODUCTION:

Hi there... How are you doing guys!!? Hope you are doing well.... Fatal Fury!! I guess we already heard about this great animes alot of times, this anime is one of my favorite animes so I've decided to collect some informations about it from different soruces to create this thread.... Well We all know this is a fighting anime based on the popular 2D fighting game of SNK it's none other than Fatal Fury one of the legendary fighting games in the world... It's one of the most popular SNK's fighting games or I should to say one of the most popular fighting games in the entire world, well as I said before it's another fighting anime based on a fighting game, but it's not bad as Samurai Showdown or the others, the anime was very good and it has succeded unlike some other fighting animes based on games... I really liked the game from the first beginning to the very end, well it's not yet ended, though.... I saw the OVA along with the Movie I liked the second OVA and the movie the most... Before I start I really hope to thanks some people so here goes, first of all let me thanks my good friend Lantis Kailu for his gooddamn faq about Fatal Fury/King Of Fighters storyline faq and the characters informations, because I really took it from him after asking him, he really deserves the full credits and not me because I didn't done anything so far... Anyway let me say that I don't know how to write that much because I am still beginner and don't the rules so let's write something around here and there so I just said to myself "Give it a try man" One thing more thanks for the websites related to Fata Fury because most informations, sounds, musics, pics...etc are from there so thank you everybody I really appreciate it.... So here goes "Certainly they existed... Those blinded by ambition. Those consumed with vengence. But here they do not exist. Only winners and losers here. For here, the MIGHTY rule!"

THE STORY:
The story is basic for an anime but it's not for a fighting game... I know many people hate the anime which based on some fighting games but this one is different, the Moive was really cool and has a nice storyline along with the second OVA, I really liked... Well the stroy is great I like it alot especially the third movie, it was the best... It's pretty hard to find a good story in a fighting anime like Fatal Fury but SNK did it and thanks refers to the crew... Each one of them has his own storyline, the first OVA's story wasn't that good though or maybe because I didn't saw it well or maybe because I didn't cared, as for the second OVA what I can say! it's really amazing so the story goes well, I mean it was nice to see Krauser's sad past along with the others characters, as for the Moive I think it has the best with the story, the story was really somehow related to some Mythology and stuff, Laucorn's story with the armors, along with some legends outta there so mixing a fighting game with stuff like that was pretty a good idea indeed....
THE CHARACTERS:
What should I say here... Considering myself one of the biggest SNK's fan or let me be clear one of the biggest Fatal Fury's fan of course I am gonna say that the characters are very good... Well Well Well the characters are top I don't what you think about them or if your going to like them or not but at least for me I think they are pretty cool characters... 2 OVAs and 1 Movie, each one of them has characters from the first heroes such as Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higash the main characters along with the main villain Geese Howard, Wolfgang Krauser, Laucorn Gaudimos so you have here alot of main characters... Yup still there are alot of others characters such as Jammin, Hauer, Pani, Mai, Tony, Kim Kaphwan and many many other characters... So in these list of the characters I think you will find the one who will fit you or let me say the one who your going to like, being one of the FF's games player so there is big surprise to say that I like the characters and especially Geese Howard, one of my favorite villains along with his half brother Wolfgang Krauser (These are for the villains) but as for the heroes I like Terry Bogard the hungry wolf and his younger brother Andy Bogard... Well SNK always amuse us with their great characters design and the characters style as well (This time with the help of the great artist Masami Obari) every character has his own style, as for Terry he is more stylish in the anime, he is very cool, the same thing goes for Andy, a silent warrior and acts like he is the hero, also there is Joe the joke fighter and funny one, oh yeah I just forgotten to mention the boss of bosses, Geese Howard, I like his style even though he is not as great as he is in the games though....So that's what I have to say for now...
THE ANIMATIONS:
Oh well what can be said about the animations and the graphics, well I have nothing really to say but it's one of the best animations around the anime world, I like it too much after all it's done by the great japanese artist, Masami Obari! even though it's pretty old but yet the animations were really nicely done and I can't say no because that's the truth... The colors, backgrounds the speed of the animations are so cool, its fits every scene... I know it has some little bugs but that because it's pretty old anime and not a very new one, though...
THE MUSICS:
As for the musics, well let me just say this before anything else... I really liked FF's musis since I was a little kid and I am talking about the musics in the game, but sadly there are no musics of the game and that what really made me sad but that's not a big deal, is it!? Well there are alot of cool musics in the anime... The musics are pretty good since they have some sad musics, cool fast musics so I guess I can say the musics are very good... I like Krauser background theme and also when play on his piano, it was pretty sad and as you know I like some sad musics just like this... I also like when Terry fight against Geese, also Andy Bogard's special background theme which used in both OVA 2 and the movie, it was really nice... Well there are many of them and I really can't name all of them so I have to say that they have more and more... Maybe you will like one of them or maybe not it's up to you really, I just said my words...
OVERALL:
All I have to say that this anime is a must see anime... A very cool anime indeed, because it was great almost in everything, the story, the characters, the animations and the graphics along with amazing animations... I really liked the second OVA so much, it was cool watching Krauser with a new look without his scar and the same old look from the games, this is just a whole new Krauser with a past and great story along with the cool musics with some great sound effects, great animations as well... As for the Movie, it's really a very cool Movie, I like it so much, the story was a damn good one I think, as for the characters also were something nice really, I don't know if it's only me because I've been SNK's fan since the beginning or it's because the anime just rocks, I don't know really but some thing I really do know, it's that there are alot of people around me who thinks the same as I do for the anime, this anime is cool I like the characters such as Geese, Krauser, Terry, Andy, Laucorn, Jammin...etc there are alot really... Even if you are not a fighting anime fan but try your luck with this one you might find something intresting, that's what I have to say about this great show... See ya around

THE CHARACTERS:

TERRY BOGARD
Terry is the most respected, feared, admired, loved, and hated
fighter you could possibly imagine in Southtown. His legend lives forever
as a fighter with strong skills, solid moves, and a kind heart. His
impressive victories over Geese and Krauser have allowed him to be a
recognized figure not only in Southtown, but in the whole world. Along
with his dear brother Andy, his sweetheart Mary, and his disciple Rock,
the Lone Wolf aims to establish a new legacy in the world of fighting.
ANDY BOGARD
A bit moved towards emotions and fury, Andy has a hard time
controlling his impulses. He tries hard to surpass his brother Terry and
to exact revenge on Geese, that he almost forgets all about himself. He
finds his true love in Mai, whom Andy really loves, but is afraid to
admit, since he is even insecure at that. Still, he cares a lot for his
friends, his brother, and Mai, although in the mean time, Andy has to
take the pressure of silence!
JOE HIGASHI
Cocky, arrogant, and a complete showoff, Joe always acts in
completely good nature. He can goof up sometimes, but he is always a good
friend who you can rely on when you're down. Even in the toughest of
times, Joe keeps his bright smile and burning sight in his eyes. He loves
to live and fight like he does. He currently dates Lilly Kane, which
means that he must learn to deal with Lilly's bothersome brother, Billy
Kane!
MAI SHIRANUI
She's not quite the brightest woman in the world, and sometimes
goofs up in important situations, but Mai is also quite a dangerous
fighter. Not only does her exceptional body mesmerize opponents, but her
annoying ability to create flaming attacks with her fans and the tail of
her outfit will also lead the opponent into sure defeat. Mai's love for
Andy knows no limits or time, since Mai hasn't seemed to given up, even
after so many years of denials and wasted attempts to seduce Andy. If
there is one thing that Mai does have, is persistence!
KIM KAPHWAN
Kim can get a bit delusional with his quest for justice, but he
does not mean any ill towards anyone but bad guys. He really is a good
friend, good natured, if not a bit self-centered. His love for others
reflects itself in the confidence he has in his sons and his disciples.
Besides, a hero who fights for justice just can't go wrong, can it?
GEESE HOWARD
Ambition for eternal power is what made Geese choose the path of
evil. Before he can aim for bigger dreams, Geese first wants to insure
his great power, by seeking out several ways to enhance his already
incredible strength. Geese is relentless, and will not allow anyone to
stand in his way. He seldom dispatches his enemies personally, allowing
his underlings to do the dirty work, but when he does, everyone should
fear his reaction! A daredevil of death, Geese has gained himself many
enemies, but deep within his corrupted soul, exists the image of his wife
Marie and his son Rock, which are buried deep within the dark ambitions
of Geese.
BILLY KANE
Short tempered and with angry impulses, Billy is not really an
evil man at heart. He really loves and cares about his sister Lilly, and
is concerned about the fact that she is dating one of Billy's enemies,
Joe Higashi. Billy had always been loyal to Geese to the very end, and
even considered him to be a close friend after so many experiences
together. Now, Billy tries to recover the lost time with his sister, and
lives an easygoing life once again.
WOLFGANG KRAUSER
Proud, elegant, but hiding a ruthless and cold composture, Krauser
lives not only to defeat, but to devoid his opponent from any hope or
illusion of fighting. Although not naturally "evil", so to speak, Krauser
doesn't mind the pain or sorrow of anybody. If someone is not strong,
then they are not worthy to live, is what Krauser thinks, and that is why
he makes sure he gets his point across the opponent's mind!
LAWRENCE BLOOD
Mindless of how great a person's feats may be, Lawrence always
tends to raise his own skills and abilities above others, as he feels
that his noble heritage has earned him a place among the greatest.
Despite that, he takes pride in serving his master Krauser, and to
distract all those who dare stand against him. As a man of honor, he also
knows when to pay his debts, and to admit defeat.

to all anime fans around, this anime is very cool and you should at least give it a try even if you are not a fighting anime fan... Well I don't have anything more to say that's what I just wanted to say about this anime...
