They entered the celebration room, where they found Sephiroth, Ky, Ayane, Lilith and Dr. Rufus…

Xion:

Sephiroth:
You are late…
Xion:
I know. I’m sorry…
Sephiroth:
Hey, don’t take it too seriously, cheer up!
Xion:
Okay… Um… Where’s Zero? And Cloud too…
Ky:
Zero’s still at the Repliforce sky base… He’ll be coming soon.
Xion:
The sky base?! Think he’ll make it on time?
Ky:
Dunno… but he said he coming right away.
Sephiroth:
As for Cloud, he just called minutes ago… said he is gonna stay with Elmdor…
Suddenly, a large screen flickered on, and Zero’s image appeared… He was still wearing combat armor…
Zero:
Hi guys! Is the star of the party there yet?
Xion:
Hi Zero! What’s up?
Zero:
First of all, happy birthday Xion!
Tiamat:
Hey! Don’t forget about me!
Zero:
You too, Tiamat.
Xion:
Where are you now?
Zero:
Well, let’s see… Right now I’m flying over Mt. Gyrock… But don’t worry, with the Ragnarok I’ll be there in about… saaaay… 20 minutes, so don’t wait for me, okay?
Xion:
Okay, although I wished you’d be here when we cut the cake.
Zero:
Nah, it’s okay. But y’know what? I wish Johnny was there with you… Johnny… it’s been ten years…
Xion:

Sephiroth:
I wonder where he is now…
Ky:

Sephiroth:

Zero:

The screen flickered off…
Sephiroth:
Well, shall we start?
Xion:

The lights went out as everyone sat around the round table… It all seemed like they were sitting around a campfire… they sang the usual “Happy birthday” song… and finally… Xion and Tiamat blew the candles out… and at that split second… Rufus’s cell phone gave a loud siren-like sound…
Lilith:
Geez! What kind of a ring tune was that?!
Rufus:
Sorry… I.. uh… I’ll be right back!
Rufus tried to keep a shallow smile on his face, but as he left the room, his face turned into a mixture of surprise and fear… what seemed to be a cell phone was actually a security alarm connected to his research center… and that specific chime was for maximum security breach…
