Hi all, I've been downloadin' Hack//Signs , I reached episdoe 13, but it doesn't work.. it requires a codec but I don't know where to get it from, I downloaded Nimo Codec Pack and DivX and Windows Media Player 9 series...
but still.. it doesn't work

Dunno if this gonna help but anyway...the problem could be with windows media player 9...not many people downloaded the new one...cuz it has problems with codecs...so maybe u should get the old wmp?

on second hand,,,try installing these three codecs in the following order:

Nemo Codec
Divx
Xvid

I guess it's the windows media player 9 thingy... I need to remove it now but how ?
I can't find any method to remove it, no uninstall program, nor anythin'.

It's not even in the Add/Remove programs thing from the Control Panel, Please gimme anyway BUT the format solution

Since Windows Media Player is one of Windows Components of OS Windows XP, you can’t remove it from Add or Remove Programs Menu ..





You can remove it from Add/Remove Windows Components .. Demo .. Removing Windows Media Player is not suitable solution, cause it will make your OS Windows XP less & poor in codecs .. I recommend you not to uninstall it ..

About your problem .. this may only cause of installing a lot of codecs witch it has same functions, old codec version (or) messing codes ..





And no need to install old codec version since new Anime have been encoded with latest encoding programs .. For example, you download Anime witch encoded with DivX 5.0.5 codec version, and you have DivX 4 version, the result is no Video (or) no Audio (or) no Video & Audio ..





I guess you only need a messing codec .. You can know your file type by
Right Click >> Properties .. Under Summary Tap you’ll see what you need to make OS Windows recognize the unknown types .. See the 2 star in the attach file, the first one is for Audio codec type & the second one is for Video codec type ..





So If you can take a snap shot for this, and I’ll do my best to help you in searching the codec for you ^^
