Will the xbox win the console war?
It depends on who you ask. If you ask a Sony representative, you'll likely be told that the Xbox was doomed to failure before its inception. If you ask a Microsoft rep, he'll tell you that the Xbox is going straight to the top.
If you ask me, I'll tell you that the Xbox has a great chance at being one of the most successful consoles ever. The Xbox is a powerful piece of hardware, it has strong financial backing from Microosft, it's relatively easy to program for, it already has lots of developer and publisher support, the games are great, and it's just plain cool.

Will PC games work on my Xbox?
No. The Xbox will not be able to play PC games because PC games have to be installed on hard-drive and OS-equipped computers to work properly. Only games or game demos written specifically for Xbox hardware will be playable on the Xbox.

Will Xbox games work on my PC?
No. Xbox games are written to be played only on Xbox hardware. Currently, there is no way that Xbox games can be played on a PC, unless the particulargame is ported to work on a PC by a game developer. Xbox games, like other console games, have most of its data stored on the actual game disc, whereas PC games tend to require most of the game data to be installed onto the PC's hard-drive.
In the future, some gifted programmer may be able to come out with an Xbox emulator on the PC, but it won't be easy. For example, a successful Playstation emulator has yet to be released, despite the console's immense popularity.

The online Xbox community has been growing by leaps and bounds ever since the console was first announced. Teamxbox hosts a popular Forum and Online Chat, both of which are full of Xbox fans ready to talk. For even more places of interaction, many of the sites on the Official Xbox site listing have forums and chat rooms as well.

Will the Xbox have an official magazine?
There is an Official Xbox Magazine (OXM for short) that is devoted entirely to covering Microsoft's console. The editors' pride themselves at being non-biased when reviewing games, but articles are an entirely different matter. To learn more or subscribe to the OXM, go here.
There are several other Xbox magazines in the works. There is atleast one in the works for the European market and another for the Japanese market. Will there be an Xbox 2?
There has been talk about an Xbox 2, but for the Xbox 2, or whatever it's called, to become a reality in the future, the Xbox has to be a success in the marketplace. Microsoft has stated that they are in this for the long haul and will do everything in their power to esnure the Xbox is a success. However, thinking too much about an Xbox 2 now will make your head hurt.

What OS does the Xbox use?
Bill Gates has confirmed that an extremely stripped down Windows 2000 kernel (500k size) will be the operating system of the Xbox. He emphasized that the OS would not make the console's load times sluggish like a PCs. The Xbox will load as fast, if not faster than any other console currently available.
