Bittorrent in the UAE

Hi anime fans
i wonder if somebody uses bittorrent to download in the uae?
does it work fast enough?
i used to download with kazaa in 40 +kb/s
but in bittorrent it is always less than 5 kb/s
i think it needs special settings for the proxy ports which etisalat close
can anybody help?



this message would sound much better in arabic but my windows xp does not support arabic

I think there is atimes to todown load so... try to choose the best time to downlaod you anime MAYBE

Why dont you use

its 100000000000 times better than all programs
you can find any anime you want and with lots of resources too

اخوي..التنزيل بالبتورنت يعتمد بشكل اساسي على نوع الاتصال (Dial Up او DSL) و عدد الـSeeders للفايل

كل ما ما زاد عدد السيدرز كل ما كان التحميل اسرع..

فعسب جيه..حاول دايماً انك تنزل الفايل صاحب عدد السيدرز الاكثر..

احياناً البعض يستخدم برامج خاصة لتنزيل فايلات البتورنت و هالبرامج تزيد سرعة الـDownload عندك و لها بعد مزايا ثانية (تختلف من برنامج لبرنامج)

افضل البرامج هاي (حسب علمي و استخدامي الشخصي له) برنامج اسمه TorrentStorm..

تقدر تنزله و و تعرف كل شي عنه من خلال هالموضوع للأخ Mosquito:

Thanks to all of you guys who responded

As for your program DC++ DxBSuperStar, ive already downloaded it, but it seems to be so complicated and it takes alot of time to connect to the hubs
i keep getting your share level is too low
and when i finally connected to a hub and chose a file to download
the download doesnt start and it just says connecting
anyway i would appreciate any further help cause the program seems to be promising

And to magenta, i AM using TorrentStorm and the speed is still very low
anyway i guess my problem is due to the firewall cause the LED is yellow
and the program says it means that my firewall is blocking any incoming connections

i just need to know if this is the same with the guys here in the uae

مثل ما قال ماجينتا السرعة تعتمد على Seeds
اذا كان رقم الـSeeds عال السرعة ما راح تنزل عندي عن 45

أنا استخدم حاليا الإصدار القديم من البتورنت فقط وما عندي أي مشاكل

وللعلم لازم تترك الـDownload فترة تقارب من الربع ساعة لين ما يصل البتورنت لسرعته الحقيقية ...

Thanks to everybody you replyed to my post


I Can finally use Bittorrent to download my favourite anime!!

All i had to do is to contact Emirates Internet (the local internet service provider in the uae) and tell them to unblock the ports used by bittorrent and i was able to download in 45 kb/s

Bittorrent does rule!!!
