Story-
During the bloody territorial Civil War Period in Japan powerful warlords (Nobunga Oda, Shingen Takeda, and Kenshin Uesugi) waged war on one another for control of Japan. However, the warlord Kenshin Uesugi also fought for justice and order. After his death Kenshin Uesugi became a war God and sensing that powerful angry souls from the Civil War Period would reject kharmatic reincarnation and would disturb the country?s development to continue their ambitions, obsessions, and curses from long ago he ordered his son-in-law Kagetora to become the leader of the Uesugi Yashashu. It is the mission of the Uesugi Yashashu to stop the interventions of the dead. To do this they take the body of a living person usually when the person is born and expel that person?s soul replacing the body?s original soul with their own and they use their special powers to achieve the goal of their mission. In present day Japan, Kagetora?s latest reincarnation is a 17-year-old high school student named Takaya Oogi. Takya has no memories of his past lives, or of the duty that he has been given. To make things even more complicated/interesting one of the Generals (Danjyou Kousaka) of the Takeda clan (a clan famous for their rivalry with the Uesugi clan) has selected Takya?s best friend Yuzuru Narita to serve as the body for the head of the Takeda Clan, Shingen Takeda.
