A simple test for language Functions ^^

First i would like 2 say that it's really cool to open up an English Forum , Thanks to the guys who came up with that idea to be putten here in montada ^^

Well , just like what the headline spoke about this thread , it's a simple language function test i just thought about , so that we can take a swiff look at the abilities of the members

Sorry if i didn't elaborate guys , I thought it was obvious ,

Well just like what the part in blue tells you ^^

U check the conversation and then find what co-works or defines with every point

like number 1 , Obligation , Find what's most suituable in the conversation for an obligation and copy and paste it

U know this is the way how they put a part of an exam in kuwait ^^ , and it's pretty simple i know you don't have to say it guys

I'm sorry guys, but i'll have to disagree with you on some of what you wrote.....

"you ought to be careful next time"

This sentence sounds more like a warning or an adivce than it does as an obligation

the same thing goes for the blame sentence... it sounds more like scolding than blame

of course if we look to the words used, you are perfectly right, but the function it was used for was different therefore the language functions are different
