but then again (almost) all the ppls playng ffxi knows english so its not a big deal
if any body wanna translate the guide go ahead ^^
a guide i made while i was spending time at the AH shoping for MNK
alot of peoples just buy armor by sets or just anything (cheep) at thier lvl
status is something not everybody watch for
the gear here is what i think is the best for MNKs
but since its your game and your money you get to buy what you want ^^
i added traits and abilities
i think i'll add lvling guide and AF quests later what do you think?
ps:
1-not every thing here is good lookin so there will be comnt about them( but if you don't mind looking like a clown ^^ buy them)
2-at low lvls almost any thing is good but listed what i think is best
3-some things in the list cost lots of money you might not need them there will be a comnt too
4-theres notes under every part read with care lol they are good for you
5-this guide is free wanna post it in your site be my guest just don't steal it and put your name on it
6-there are no ranged weapons in this guide cuz mnk can't use them any way and you don't pull so you don't need them
but you can get pebbles (just rocks) for fun (/em throws a rock at <t> ) really funny

[ Tips: ]
[ If you can get something for free DO NOT buy it some gear are droped and quested. ]
[ As a mnk you must do as much dmg so STR and +Atk are your friends ]
[ MNKs got what peoples call PAPER ARMOR so don't tank at high lv past 30 before that ]
[ use fish mith kabobs for tanking and meat mith kabobs (food) for damage dealing ]
[ Keep your gear updated people will not invite a mnk with bad gear or any job cept mages ]
[ Make friends (save some ppls and stuff) they might help you later ]

Ok here we go cesti do not buy them from the AH buy them from shops for low cost
as for Republic Knuckles they're almost the same with bastokan but way cheaper
RK can be 20-30k but bastokan they are like 3-5k nothing you can't get but if your loaded
go with republic now the important stuff impacts here you'll be gald if you have high lv friends
just treck them to go hunt mee degge (yag NM) he drop them and the kotes ask for the impacts
the 600-800k kote will make them forget about the impacts trust me ^^; well from lv 30 start farming
1 day a week will be fine cross-counters are $$$$$ you don't need them but they are great if you can pay for'em
theres the kaisers but since there lv90 woodworking and really hard to get i won't say anything about them ^_^
i heard some things are from cop but since i don't have cop i don't know (i
ll buy cop just to get the SAM (next job) JSE

ok but when your 40 hehe thats where the horror start jujitsu oh boy cool yeah
but 100-200k lots of money $$ you can hunt the NM but he might and will own you
the dude can use hundred fists one of the strongest skills in the game and will use it!!
you can solo him if you got a lv 55-60 job but he isn't a push over
well shinobi you don't need it if you have jujitsu but if you're like me you'll want
it for the LOOKS scorpion is in the list but you don't need them wait 1 lv and get the AF
but if you already got one use it (duh)
and scorpion is 4-50mil gil so ._.; naf said

the quest isn't hard but the "cool" mobs won't let you just pass by them w/o a fight
so get them good old friends of yours
ochiudo's kote is a lil hard to get but you'll get them sooner or later ب_ب if your lucky ........(i'll just buy mine lol)

they are really great but they look like the lv 1 subligar >.<
go with the slacks the eve and AGI bounce is great you can tank with these lol(stop tanking after lv 30 )
the mob will have hard time hitting you ^^ but if you don't mind fighting in the (battle underwears)
i think you better get them.im not thu (poor arkine doesn't need ppls to make fun of him lol)

i have nothing to say here fuma is nice but hard to get high lv friends
might be needed to get the fuma all the other stuff is cheap you won't
spend more than 10-15k on shoes sell light soles and use the money to buy beetle
the cost the same add 5-7k and buy windy kyahan(or add 40k and get fed)
sell them and buy merc gaiters its simple before lv 40 life is easy

at lv 40 go hunt mee deggi and Quu domi with 2 freinds that what a guy i know did he got 2 fumas and a kote

quu is a ninja and he got the *KABOOM* 2h and will use it
mee deggi (the bogy man lol) is a mnk also with 2h so when he use it just run around till its gone
or make a thf tank him with his 2h or a pld (i love pld i'll lv it after sam)

spike is great but when you get to lv 41 it will make your life hard cuz they
make chi blast the mnks most wanted move sucks chi needs MND to work well so
make a macro for the blast or buy something else and peacock charm is 8mil but acc is needed at high lv
that what the high lv mnks i asked said^^ but just get some earrings with +acc
you'll be fine ^^

you need about 30k for courage's but thats not hard (i'm a slow lvler i just farm orcs for fun and get crystals )
and i want to say that i only listed +STR rings cuz that what mnks need raw attack power grrrr.

One thing i can say here (ouch!) this move will make the mob cry !!
it will get you lots of hate but its worth it

boost well it boosts your first attacks you can stack boost up to 9 times
and boost make chi blast do lots of damage boost when ever you can

slight evasion increase. not bad when tanking at low lvls

healing abilit. great when farming it can save your life

its good for NM hunting its faster than provoke
use +MND gear and witch kabob to make it even stronger

traits you get their not perfect but really great
Martials Arts Lvl 1, 31, 46, 61, 75.
built in Haste very nice by lvl 75 you'll be hitting like a machine gun!
hand to hand got 480 delay thats why all jobs sucks at them but with mnk its defrent
you get martal arts to speed things up

with VIT and +HP gear you can be very dangerous and hard to kill
