i agree with some of ur points and disagree with the rest
but it appeared to me that u didnt understand the whole idea ia m trying to make

is it trure?? the regulations here or any forum prevent writers from referring or telling the readers if it was copied from an e mail or in another forum!! r u sure?? i guess there is a missunderstanding,, mentioning the source doesnt need to be detailed as it is applied in (the academic researches or papers), to make it simple for u, take this example : u could say,, i got this nice topic via e mail or u can say i found it in one of the forums and liked it very much, so i decided to share it with u ,, this is enough and it is not considered to be Plagiarism in the internet, and the reason for doing that is to tell the readers u copied or selected it but u didnt "write it by urself" ,,,,,,,,,, hopefully u got what i mean

Again here ,,, u r talking from different prespective which was not the point i raised, with regard to the compliment!!
what i meant is accepting compliments as being the "writer" ,,i will give u an example suppose i found poems or a story in the internet and decided to post it in the forum without mentioning it was copied or written by someone else,,, and lets suppose the story was written by a very well known writer , ,,,
when the readers read the poems or the story , they will like it and they may say wowwwwwwwwwwww good poem or good story and mashallah u r talented writer !!! in the other side, I reply thanks and that's it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! did u get what i mean??? in ur openion this attitude is acceptable? u take compliments for something u didnt write!!!
In the other side, if u are referring to the effort u made in selecting and posting, it is acceptable to recieve compliments given that "the readers know they r not origionally urs"
