Does Islam teach hatred toward jews ??

I have a question for you brothers and sisters ...
Lately , I have been viewing a western forum on the net , and I found out that a lot of people have the idea that Muslims hate jews ...
They believe that Islam preach hatred and intolerance towards jews and non-muslims ... They believe that Islam preach that anyone who is not a muslim should be killed
and to be honest , I couldn't argue with them ..
They transleted scripts from Quran that says kill non-believers and since I don't know anything about "Tafseer" I couldn't say anything
These are the scripts from Quran


"Believers, make war on the infidels who dwell around you."

Verse 9:123

"When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield strike off their heads and, when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly."

Verse 47:3

"Muhammad is Allah's apostle. Those who follow him are ruthless to the unbelievers but merciful to one another."

Verse 48:29

"Prophet, make war on the unbelievers and the hypocrites, and deal sternly with them. Hell shall be their home, evil their fate."

Verse 66:9

"Unbelievers are those who declare: 'God is the Messiah, the son of Mary.'"

5:17

"Believers, take neither the Jews nor the Christians for your friends. They are friends with one another."

5:51

"Say: 'People of the Book, is it not that you hate us only because we believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us and what was formerly revealed, and because most of you are evil-doers?' Say: 'Shall I tell you who will receive a worse reward from Allah? Those whom Allah has cursed and with whom He has been angry, transforming them into apes and swine, and those who serve the devil."

5:59

"Unbelievers are those that say:'God is the Messiah, the son of Mary."

5:72

"Unbelievers are those that say: 'God is one of three.'"
5:73

"Say to the desert Arabs who stayed behind: 'You shall be called upon to fight a mighty nation, unless they embrace Islam. If you prove obedient, Allah will reward you well. But if you run away, as you have done before this, He will inflict on you a stern chastisement.' It shall be no offense for the blind, the lame, and the sick to stay behind. He that obeys Allah and His apostle shall be admitted to gardens watered by running streams; but he that turns and flees shall be sternly punished by Him."

48:16


My questions are
1. Does these verses from Quran teach hatred and intolerance ,and If they don't , can you tell me what they mean ??????

2. In one of the prophets battles "qasawat" against Jews , one of the companions "Saad bin mu'aa'" said that The men must be slaughterd and the women must be sold to slavery and that happened ... Isn't that harted and intolerance toward Jews ???

I hope everyone will be practical , informative and civilized about my thread and will not attack me personally ... I hope "Al istishhadya" would reply to my thread ..

Sorry I don’t have enough time to answer you, although please note that Islam believe in the Jewish religion and allow us to marry from them, also our prophet has told us we can eat with them sharing the same table and food as they don’t eat pork and they have a similar way of getting their meat to the halal meat.

In the other hand the Jewish religion does not believe in Islam and consider them marrying from us is a sin.

That and they call them self "the chosen people" like they are different from others.

Although all of the above is true but please remember that we are at war with the Israelis, and the reason for this is known.

Conclusion we are at war with Israel and its people, but we have nothing against the Jews in general, (P.S many Jews are against Israel and the creation of this country, as they believe it will lead to the end of their religion, and in every pro-Palestine protest they join

As for question one it is translated wrong in all aspects, and it does not mean what they are trying to implement.

Remember the quran is in Arabic and once translated it losses of it’s meaning, therefore it should be only translated by someone who is perfect wit the Arabic language to be able to understand it.



As for question 2, it is not true at all, total the opposite happened, as a matter of facts he even said do not hurt a tree or an animal...

But sadly they are well known in history for playing around with incidents and changing the good to bad and bad to good.

hehe, here is a small example of how deceive they could be, this translating is way far from the quran



In the quran it is



يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْيَهُودَ وَالنَّصَارَى أَوْلِيَاءَ بَعْضُهُمْ أَوْلِيَاءُ بَعْضٍ وَمَنْ يَتَوَلَّهُمْ مِنْكُمْ فَإِنَّهُ مِنْهُمْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِي الْقَوْمَ



God is telling the believers (us Muslims) not to take them (christens nor Jews) as our allies.

This is applied to the situation in Iraq for example where us Muslims should not trust America and their intentions in out Muslim country, they wish us all the worst and never the good. Therefore we should not take them as our leaders and accept their rule over us.

Same as the English done to us when they occupied us in the 1918s and gave Palestine away.



God is warning us not to be fooled by their promises (like we always do) and to remember that they only help themselves and never wish good for us.



In the other hand it remind us that if you take them as allies then you are one of them.



All this explanation they shortcut it and translate it into their deceiving text…



Remind those who said this of the history, and how mercy Islam is in comparison to the army of lion heart and what they done to the people of qustantineia when they occupied it, how they killed the 20,000 people regardless of them being children, women, aldery, and how the people of Jerusalem fought with saladin against lion heart EVEN the Christians…

Well, first of all these script are real but they are not a fine-translated ones.
As Muslims, our greatest mission is to spread Islam all over the world and we want every single human in this planet to be a
Muslims, because we believe that Islam is the only way to escape from hell and to enter paradise safely.


In the other hand, the Jews are believing that they are the "chosen ones" and they are the "sons of god"

So, is not that a prove that Islam is so kind ? and its ultimate goal is humans salvation???



You can not say that Islam wants us to hate the non-believers while Islam wants us to explain Islam and spread it all over
the world.


And Yeah , we hate the unbelievers but in general . We don't hate any person in particular until he/she starts the war against
the Islam .

Maybe hate is a big word , we can not make them our allays

And about that battle against Jews , that event happened after many berries from the Jews . They helped Islam's enemies to
enter the prophets city after they promised him to protect him . And they also tried to kill him by throwing a big rock on
him -peace be upon him-

So , they deserved it . And if you want to know Islam's kindness see what did our prophet do after his great victory against
the unbelievers in Mecca .

First of all my name is 3weela
Second , I think romoving my thread to the English forum is a stupid move
you obviously don't know how to read English because If you did you would know that my thread can NOt be in the english forum ...
I took a look at the english forum , and all the topics there is about the english language

First of all Islam doesn't teach us to hate judaism or any other religion, it teachs us to be tolerant to
other people of different creed and race.

To give you some examples of Islam's tolerance to other religions salahuddin had a christian arab commandor in his army and alot of the khalifs had christians and jewish people as their doctors. Another example is how Islam spread in Indonesia, the people there converted to Islame because they saw how the muslim merchants who came to their land treated other people with kindness, honesty, and toleranance. It didn't spread by sword or force.

I agree with you that your thread shouldn't have been transffered here, it should had stayed in the Islamic section where it belongs but you should put into consideration that you are writing in an arabic islamic section and not an english one (although I know you don't have Arabic installed on your system and that's why you wrote in english), so my advice to you is to go to english islamic boards or use Paltalk and participate in english islamic rooms where you'll find people with great knowledge in Islam and are fluent in english instead of writing in english in an arabic islamic board

I know that Islam has tolerance for other religions but can you explain something to me
Why is it in Islam , it's forbidden for christians and jews to build their worships places like churchs in muslim land while they allow us to build mosques in their lands ... From this point , It appears to me that they tolerate us but we don't tolerate them ....

Now what about those verses I included in my thread , it looks to them that these verses are evil and encourage terrorism ....

Well, when christianety was in its golden age , they would not allow us to

build any mosque in thiere country or even to say taht we are Muslims .
Now if look at Eourope and Amireca .
You'll find that thier governament changes its intrests , They don't care about

relegion anymore and they concentrate on economy
So, it is okay to them if you are a member of another relegion as long as you

pay taxes , even if you worship devil him self.
The reason that we did not allow them to build thier own worship-places is

because we care about them. We want them to find the truth , to be Muslims.And

it is -As I mentioned earlier- our ultemite goal.
Think about it....
If a christian person came to an islamic country and find out that he can not

perform any kind of worships to his god , while Muslem people can pray,fast,

and do almost every kind of worship anywhere. He'll figure out that there is a

defect in his relegion.

About the verses you posted
Those verses were in a war era
And Muslems were living side by side with thier enemys (Jews) and they have to

be carefull

But if you read the qura'an carefully you are going to find the truth

I don't know why you are making a big deal about love and hate
We hate the unblevers but we don't have the right to harm them , we can't hate

any one personally unless he start the fire against us, we have to teach them

the islam and if they became Muslims we are going to love them more than our
