GMC Yukon/Yukon Denali 2007When it goes on sale early next year, the 2007 Yukon will be available in three trim levels -- SLE with cloth trim, SLT with leather trim and Denali. The Yukon Denali gets a different grille design and a 6.2-liter V-8 engine rated at 380 horsepower and mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The base engine for two-wheel-drive versions of the Yukon will be a 4.8-liter V-8 rated at 290 hp. But that engine won't be available at the start of production. The new Yukon will launch with a 5.3-liter V-8 rated at 320 hp and equipped with cylinder deactivation technology to improve fuel economy.
