One day , When I was walking in my grandfather’s farm, I
stopped near the cottage which was laying at the end of his farm, but it really was in the nearby farm. I stopped because I heard a voice of someone talking in that cottage, so, I walked near it because of my curiosity to hear what they are talking about. I looked through a crack in the wall of the cottage and saw a man who was between 40 to 50 years old talking to a group of young adults, they were about 10 persons. First, I thought they were studying, but sooner I understood that it was a strange meeting. They were talking about destructive weapons and pointing at some maps for the city were I live. I decided to get back to home before they get me arrested. I thought they were police or army having a secret meeting.
After three days, I’ve read a big bold title in the first page in the local newspaper which was about:
“DESTRUCTIVE WEAPONS WAS STOLEN FROM MILITARY STORES”
At the moment, I didn’t care about that heading, after some seconds I suddenly remembered what I’ve seen and heard in that small cottage at the end of my grandfather’s farm before three days. My desire to punish the offenders made me tell the police, but I didn’t have enough information to tell the police about. That why I didn’t go to the police, and decided to get back to the cottage to collect more information about these bandits and their plans.
In the morning, I prepared myself to start my adventure to that cottage. It was far enough from my home that nobody noticed that I had took my bag, my tape recorder and the camera to take some pictures for the criminals and the cottage which they held meetings in it. Before going, I left a letter for my brother which I wrote in “Give the police the tape inside the letter quickly”, and I wrote on the face of the letter “Don’t open it before 9:00pm”. I recorded my voice giving information about the place of the cottage which the bandits used it for meeting every time and which I used to go to this day.
After one hour of walking, I reached the cottage of the bandits and started to record their voices. Then I started to take pictures for them, but by mistake I forgot to remove the flash light from the camera so that when I took the pictures, the flash attracted them to me, so I was caught as a hostage. They started to beat me so hard that I became unaware about what is happening around me. After some time, I woke up and looked to my watch, the time was 8:55pm. I was happy although I was hurt in my body, because my brother will give the tape which was in the letter to the police.
At 9:10pm the police came to the cottage and surrounded it. At the first, the criminals didn’t quit, and they tried to run away from the police, but there were no way to escape. At this moment, I found that the criminals forgot me because they were too afraid to be caught, so I ran away before they could use me as a hostage to force the police to let them escape. When I reached the police force, I told them that there are no body in the cottage except the criminals so they started to shout and warn the criminals that the police will shoot them if they didn’t surrender within 2 minutes. But, the criminals gave up and I was very happy.
In the next day I read a heading in the newspaper which says:
“A HERO FROM OUR COUNTRY CAUGHT THE BIG CRIMINALS”I was shocked to see my name and my picture in the newspaper in the first page, but I said: ( This what a hero deserve ) !!
