Before I start, I would like to apologize for writing in English + using my friend's ID but since am so slow in Arabic Typing and it will take me ages to finish my reply. "I don’t think it matters since we all read them in subtitle anyway". I shall start now
Part 1:
First of all, I was really pleased when someone"FINALLY" has done a report about such an amazing, wonderful and artistic anime such as Harukanaru!! And am not overrating it , really. Although it might sounds like Fushigi Yugi in term of story ,however, it surpassed FSY in all aspects.
To begin with, I have never "NEVER" seen such a wonderful , smooth and detailed series as Harukanaru. The quality of the drawings never went down even for split of second in the whole series. And no, it isn’t about fancy 3d stuff. They have created the best atmosphere that best suits such a genre. Even in drawing the water it was really nice "cant describe". "I wish 12 Kingdomes was the same in term of animation".
The sound track of this series "ROCKS".
They combined both animation and OST's to produced unforgettable scenes and each character at a certain point has his owns song that would only be played once in the entire series.
The character design is one of the best "if not the best after fruits basket". Unlike FSY" where they only focuses in Tamahome and Miaka", all characters takes their right in term in development. Even one thing that many animes failed in delivering to the audience is the background about the characters which was shown in the right place and time within the series. So , no complains at all. In fact, no love climax in the series as in FSY. Well, there is but not as FSY where kissing is in every episode "almost". Which is another reason this attracted so many people "no ecchi at all".
Another thing "I believe all whom watched this series agree in this point" characters behave realistically unlike tons of other animes where the heroes always stupid, yet wons. Weak, yet survives. An example is Akane and Miaka. Miaka is so stupid and "ALWAYS" causes problems resulting to the death of her comrades UNLIKE Akane who always helps and far more mature than Miaka.
Moving in to the story, it is "Extremely" well developed and never boring and no fillers at all, except in one episode where u get know the funny side of each character and discover surprisingly another aspect of their personalities, which also serve the series.
Finally : Harukanaru is a "MASTER PIECE" that I believe every one should give it a try, specially if you were a shojou fan "you’ve missed the best series after Fruits basket"
Part 2:
Part 2 is about few correction I would like to add about the characters powers .
Shimon and Inori have the power of Earth "suzaku"
Tenma and Yoroushi have the power of wind "Syrui"
Tomomasa and Fujiwara have the power of fire "Byako"
Eisen and Abe have the power of water "Genbu"
I know it's different from the God's power but it has to do with their Yin Yan "Chinese fortune telling using the hexagonal board" Every thing else is perfect.
End Part 2
Finally, I know I have talked a lot but this is the least I could do for such Master Piece as Harukanaru.
Important note" if u didn’t like Fruits Basket and Full Moon Wosagashite this is NOT FOR YOU".
