a) The Internet is a global public internetwork. The use of internet is now very common and widespread in developed countries. Discuss how local area networks can be joined together through a wide area network to form an internetwork.

Answer;
Networks that connect users together in a limited geographical area are called LAN's. They allow devices such as printers and serversthe name given to a computer that holds applications, files or storage shared by users on a network to be shared. They are connected to telecommunications centres using a router.
A router has a number of interfaces, called ports and is used to switch packets between these ports. It is often used to convert between LAN and WAN protocols.

و الواضح انها من كتاب ... فراجع كتابك (او المذكرة اللي عندك) ففيها الجواب .. لأن هذه الأسئلة أسئلة عامة عن الانترنت و الشبكات..
