I saw this phenomena too much in forums

lots of members choose aliases ( nicknames ) instead of their real names ..

...

Do they feel more comfortable toward them ( Aliases ) , it sounds good ?

Do they hate their real names ?

Is it shameful ?

Let's have a discuss about this phenomena ..

i think,in my opinion,they use nicknames to express their feelings,or because they have got bored of their names and want to change,or maybe because they love something or some1 and proud of him/her ,or want to be him/her
maybe something else

I totally agree with you
Nowadays, we notice that approximately 99% members in forums use AKA(also known as) or simply aliases
The main reason sometimes is to hide identity or trying to draw a certain image of one's personality

Do they feel more comfortable toward them ( Aliases ) , it sounds good ?

I don't know about the others
?But in my point of view using aliases is more comfortable...Why
simply because our name is part (The most important part) of our identity.
Thus, we try to create and imagine a new name probably representing our personality to some extents but we, as any human being, try to look better than we are in reality

Do they hate their real names ?

I don't think so
May be there are some people that may ''hate their names'' ,but the truth is I'll say it again we try to hide our personal identity
May be because it is more amuzing than our given name, maybe because it allows us to separate life online from our real life
and I think that this one is the main reason for choosing an alias

Is it shameful?

No it's not shameful, why would it be
using AKA is a way to protect one's privacy

Well… for me I was using the net to get away from my life,
that is why I preferred using an alias instead of my real name. l
I didn't reveal my real name for years,l
I made it known only after I made real friends through the net.l

Now, as for the question: why would anyone choose to hide his true identity?l
Well.. There are many reasons, some are good and some are bad. l

Normally, people feel more relaxed when freed from some bounds,l
By changing their names they somehow will be freed from their real identities, l
thus they will feel less stressed, less worried and more relaxed l
That is why you find many act more freely when using nicknames. l

Um.....I think names are from haven I mean from God... understand me
So like desided our destiny by God ...Names are the same, I think
So my dear no one should be shame also there is no one ever
feel like this sensation....Cuz it's from God who want good to us
and thing that God chosen to us never give us shame ever.....
About nicknames :I Think realy that it show us the thing that a person
want to be ..thing that he like so much even food or might be heroes
actualy I think that when a person use nicknames he might feel
with safety or proud (but he is not shame from his real name),U know that fear is one of the property of human and by nickname he might want hide behinde it,catch it.......
I think that any nickname show us the personality of his owner
and throw it We could know alot of thing about aperson
