In a small section of Famitsu devoted to reader opinions, one 20 year old gamer said that "I can't be the only one who is reminded of the 3DO when I look at the Xbox." It must be noted that the 3DO doesn't have the best of images in Japan. There's a certain uneasiness about the Xbox as well here. Japanese gamers tend to feel that there's not enough to draw them to Microsoft's console, even with Japanese developer support -- why get the Xbox when you can play the same games plus Sony/Nintendo exclusives on the PS2 or Gamecube?
