hi all,

i know the title of my subject is somehow weired but really i am wondering if u agree with me or not .....
am new to this forume in particualr but am not new to english forums in general

i have realized that ppl who asked for a help (looking for translation or a specific help in english) are not regualr participants in the english forume !!
they are here to take the help and that's it ??? sara7ah ,,,,, i never ever helped them cause they look taking advantage of the ppl here who might help

im not sure that those who ask for a help are taking advtg of us, they r just asking help

for me its a different reason. u dont answer them because they r not permanent here, i dont answer them bcoz there's someone else helping them....& i actually dont care how many participation i have... somepeople look to increase their participations...

I would ignore them all

this forum wasn't created to help people do their homeworks

besides... the point of homework is that you learn by doing it yourself .. not handing it in perfectly

I've seen so many "please do my homework" topics here that I don't stop by anymore... it's sickening

Ignore them, I say, and let them know that we mean business

its werd ween someone ask for somthing that he should do ,, like copying my homework befor the class starts !! , I dont really mind becuse his my friend , but if its going to efect him i would stop helping him ..

so my final thout is that if his trying to take the easy way out then we should ignore him ,, but if his trying to learn somthing new then we should help him ^_^ .

PS . corect my mistaks so i can learn from them ^.^

Hey there Destiny, how are I you? Franky I totally agree with you

In the very beginning when I was new, I used to help everyone with everything I can, and some ask for translations for whole texts and I do as they ask to increase my skill of translation and to help them as well

But then I realized that I was doing their homework, and I hate copying someone's homework even if it was better than mine, I'd rather learn from my mistakes than to have a good mark without any

So now I only help those who need translations for sentences only for example, because it seems that they've done their homework but got stuck in particular points, or those who need explanaitions for anything

And I totally agree with them taking advantage of us, coz many even send me private messages asking for translations, and you can't imagine how long their texts are

So from now on, I'm not doing anybody's homework but mine

No offense but some need to learn English before they offer to help others with it.



Am not going to be technical but the spelling mistakes here don’t qualify you to help with the language.



as for the subject it self, there is no harm to correct some mistakes others done, of course DO NOT do the whole thing for them, but if they made an attempt, then no harm in correcting and helping your brothers and sisters.

HELPING is completely different from DOING someone else's homework, I would call that cheating!!
And not doing that doesn't make you selfish

No offense but some need to learn English before they offer to help others with it.

We are talking about those who post a whole text and ask for its translation, some who ask for complete passages about certain topics, and those who want others to make their researches and projects for them

They're either lazy and don't want to do their homework, or weak and want to get an A easily. How will they learn and improve themselves and their language if we keep on doing it for them? So making them learn from their own mistakes isn't selfish. And even when they ask for help, and others refuse to offer because they know it's their homework and say do it yourself and I'm ready to correct it for you, they refuse or don't even reply again, they either want it complete or don't want it at all

And I also think that correcting it is a part of cheating, because it's their teachers duty to do that not ours! and if we did correct their projects they won't know their mistakes and learn from it as much as they will from their teachers

i agree also with ur point to help the regular participants cause at the end of the day we here like friends and we should help eachother,,,, but as our friends say,, if it was a homoework i would really ignore even if it is from one of the moderators :P
